    Promoters Lou DiBella and Richard Schaefer, the CEO for Golden Boy Promotions, have confirmed that there are ongoing discussions for a possible fight between WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto (27-0, 21KOs) and top-rated 140-pounder Victor Ortiz (28-2, 22KOs). The tentative date is April 16.

      While Ortiz is bigger then Berto, I wish Berto would fight someone not coming up in weight. Got dang I've never seen a fighter babied the way Berto is. If this fight is made i'm hoping Ortiz catches Berto with something nice to end this dudes pathetic reign as a Welterweight titleholder.

            HBO should pay $1 mil to Berto and $500k to Ortiz. No way this fight would get $2.7 mil like Bradley-Alexander.
