The fans would benefit from having Pacquiao and Nonito on the same card...the money we spend on the PPV would seem more worth it.
But as usual what's good for the fans is not what's good for Bob Arum.Comment

That's the most likely reason.I doubt there is any beef.
Arum just likes to nickle and dime fans by spreading his stars out on ppv's.
I mean put yourselves in Arum's shoes.
Why put Nonito and Manny on the same card, when you can have a PPV for $65 bucks in Nov., then another one (Donaire as the headline) for $55 bucks.
It's also the same reason Juanma and Cotto are never on the same card and neither were guys like Montiel and Margarito etc.
Juanma=Latin Fury PPV
Donaire= Pinoy Power PPV
Manny=Major HBO PPVComment

The polar opposite, a much more traditional fighter.I saw somewhere on Facebook the reaction a lot of Filipino fans had to Donaire's press conference this week and I have to agree
oh sure there are some who really like the kid and all but a lot, way too many for my liking, simply call him a Manny wannabe etc
sad ish right there this kid is really nothing like MannyComment

So there is a little bit of truth in all of the reasons that have been mentioned.
Nonito needs to keep winning, end of story.
Maybe Filipino's will take more ownership of Donaire if he attempted to reunite with his dad, or at least not be estranged from him?
And maybe he could take a fight to Manilla or General Santos ?Comment
