Haye is so untested and mostly smoke and mirrors that Tarver at 40 would be one of his top 3 wins.
Yeah, Tarver was a good fighter, not a bum. Some of these people think everyone is a "bum" except their favorite 2 or 3 fighters, fercrissake.

His heavyweight escapade is doomed, however. But I think Haye may jump at this chance. He can milk it in the UK press which falls for his BS over and over again.

Chopper - Jones lost over 20 pounds of muscle and that sped up his decline coupled with age. Tarver would have been carved up if he had fought a younger Jones.

No he didn't, he put on about 8-9lbs from what he normally walks around at for the HW fight with Ruiz and cut water weight like he always does for his LHW fights from probably the mid 180's when he went back down to fight Tarver

Or do you think he walks around at 175 all of the time?

The truth is Roy got older his speed declined a bit, Tarver was very good, and hungry when he caught Roy with an eyes closed perfect straight left at the right time but this "weight drained" Roy myth is one that need to go.

Spray, you don't know what you are talking about. Roy dropped from 199 in muscle to 175. Muscles atrophe when you lose weight with no body fat as a reserve. Stevie Wonder could see he was gaunt! There is NO myth and even Tarver admitted to it after the Rocky film and HE lost fat, NOT muscle. Don't write about something you do NOT know about.

He weighed 193 for the weigh in for a HW fight, I didn't see him weigh in unofficially but I doubt he cut 6 or 7lbs to weigh in for a HW fight.

The fact is he simply didn't put on that much weight really and Tarver is a different story because he legitimately blew up to about 220 and then went back to 175.

Maybe you should take your own advice and not write about things you don't know anything about.
