I'm bookmarking this thread to see how many bandwagon jumpers are in here after the Pascal rematch. I definitely agree about Dawson needing to be more actice but you brought up him against Johnson in their first fight as an example of him not being hungry, and not the 3 fights after that where he won virtually by shutout.

a lot of Dawson haters. the kids talented but had a bad night. give him a break wasnt there a whole lot of drama going on with him and managers and what not leading up to fight night. his head wasn't all there in that fight. but other fights hes out boxed just about everyone in front of him. he'll be back.

Yea i agree i read that article on esb, he sounds really hungry and ready to get back into the ring and prove to everybody that he is better than what he showed in the Pascal fight. He says he realised his mistakes and promises to be more agressive and attack.

Really interesting interview actually, i hope he comes back stronger and more aggressive because thats all he is missing really, his skills are second to none.

Whats with everyone kicking Dawson while hes down? At least give him a chance to comeback before you've made up your mind on him

I just don't see the fire in this guy anymore. Why isn't he going apeshi t to get the Pascal fight? Why hasn't he kept busy to stay sharp? Why does he fight only 1 or maybe 2 times a year?

Maybe he's bored having all these rematches, maybe he's comfortable with his dough, maybe he's just not the firey type, but I just don't see the same guy that put it on adamek. I don't see the guy that used to go for ko's before he got on hbo.

Sincerely hope i'm wrong, but i'm thinking the same thing right now.....he should be P4P # 1 with that skill set. He should be looking to mop the floor with the whole 75 division and anyone from 68 who wants it.

I've never understood why he fights once or twice a year when he doesn't have much of a fan base. I don't think he should have ever left Mayweather Sr. It's obvious the skill level is there but the fire and killer instinct just isn't.
