And Haye did in fact declined the september date.As for the Adamek fight in september,it may well be becuase of the venue, apparently Poland has a new stadium opening at that time and they want the fight in poland at that stadium because that where the fight will be most proditable.
He could have fought in May/June at either a UK venue or America but insisted on having home advantage thats why the dates were so fixed and only 2 were available.Thats after insisting on a video that he was willing to fight anytime any place.

It's a stay busy fight for Wlad, that's all. Chisora is not a bum like Harrison, but he's not world class either. But he's good enough to give Wlad a reasonably competitive and entertaining fight for a few rounds, which is what you need in a stay busy fight.
and if I can add to this, Sanders at that time had a record of 38-2 (28KO's) not too shabby for a golfer lol

Chisora is rank much hire in all tthe sanctioning bodies ranking then Harrison.

I think you may have over look at the time Sanders fought Wlad , he was not as good as he is now, and 2ndly Sanders record at that time was 38-2 (28KO's) not to bad for a semi pro golfer lol

FACT is if he didn't sign a Chisora fight he would be fighting Haye in July you can spin it whatever way you like but that is the truth he would make more money from fighting Haye than the rest of the fights for the rest of his career there is no need to face Adamak first or at least try and find a suitable date for him and Haye to face each other. Don't bother with the 9 week turnaround stuff since anyone in boxing knows Wlad isn't going to do that for any world title bout let alone the biggest one of his career.
sorry guy, but you do not present points ,you present opion(your opion) that fact is i, in the end Haye said no to the July 2nd fight.

            • Wow, I just realized something they are all doctors now. You have Wlad who is Dr. Steelhammer and Vitali is Dr. IronFist and then you have David "The Spin Doctor" Haye. And I don't understand why anyone is still wasting their time trying to convince his fans that he ain't a wuss. And sometime down the road while the Klit brothers are being inducted into the Hall of Fame they can look out the window and wave to Haye as he is standing in line waiting to pay to get in.

I think you over looking 2 facts, one Wlad is a much better fighter now,and 2: Corrie Sanders record at the time of the Wlad fight was 38-2 (28KO's)

HGuy you are really grasping at straws here. Wlad said it is a stay busy fight(keeps the ring rust off) and you can bet people will in England be watching Chisora vs Wlad just to see how Chisora does and to mesure up Wlad against Haye. And it is not all that unsually to have keep busy fights esopecial after coming off a fairly long lay off. and as for SANDERS ANY BODY WHO KNOWS BOXING ALWAYS KNEW sanders had a very fast deadly left hand,in fact it is considered one of the hardesrt in the heavy weight division, and SANDERS RECORD AT THE TIME OF THE FIGHT WAS 38-2 (28KO's) he had twice as many ko's as Chisora has fights.

Haye did not want the fight in U.S. and rightly so because the fight will more profitable in England or Germany , they both agreed on Germany becuase of the numbers,(Haye's own manager said " they would have liked to have the fight in England in front of Davids fans, but the fight will make more money in Germany so the fight will be held there")
