after seen a documentary about a very good bodybuilder. he said he went up average 2pounds / year, he trained real hard and he also compare. so it came to my mind how could holyfield went up 12pounds of muscles in like 11months and rou jones 20pounds in 6 months?. what do you guys think?

I doubt they were on roids ,but either way does it really matter Holyfield is done and should be retired and RJJ will be retired after Oct 1.It is possible for people to gain and lose alot of weight quickly without using drugs too. -
Its a different type of training, its like how can some fighters put on 20lbs in one day after the weigh in.
If your diet is right and your training is correct you can bulk up, compare holys and roys bodys to a proper bodybuilders there are a world of difference, and 2lb a year seems crap to me, there are some people who will struggle to bulk and others who find it easier, fact of lifeComment

We have to remember most of these men are pro athletes they live a different life to us training wise and diet wise, i don't mean the lazy ****as who are lucky to get the chance to fight i mean men like Mosley, holy, jones, hop, the klits, judah, pacman etc, these ****as are always in shape, if we had the time and drive to do what they do for such a long time we would look the dogs too, **** some of us look pretty ****in good anyway and we just train as a hobby!!!!
I believe the body is an amazing instrument and when fed and used properly can do amazing thingsComment

Ill tell you why its a shock training, that body builder only gains 2 pounds per year because he already gained that initial quick muscle that people get when they first start lifting hard! when you use heavy weights you pack on more muscle and once you bulk up you taper down and lose the fat.
when you first start lifting weights you put on your most muscle at this time 10 to 25 pounds some people even put on 25 pounds in 4 months.After that it goes slower and slower you gain less muscle, but it is usually cause by a plateau, so you have to change your training routine often to shock the muscle back again.What was that natural body builders name cause he was probally just maintaing muscle cause 2 pounds of muscle a year for a body builder is kinda ridiculous if your natural 10 to 15 pounds a year of muscle is good and normal if you lift and eat right.Comment

You know who thinks that?****sexual Tyson fans who find excuses about every time he lost.I am sure if Holyfield didn't use roids.Roids usually make you stronger and punch harder.Holyfield was never much of a puncher at heavyweight.The only person he knocked out who people know about is Tyson.
