    Hatton - Top 10 P4P -

    Marquez - Top 5 P4P

    Mosley - Top 5 P4P

Judging by that record, he is going right back to a Top 10 guy whenever he comes back.

BUT even for those fights, they were too small, too old ,.... lol!

Hatton - Was a career 140 fighter. Yet Floyd fought him at 147

Marquez - Fought only twice at 135, never fought at 140 not 147. Yet Floyd fought him at 147!!!

Mosley - Hadn't fought in 16 months. Therefore, his ratings was based on January 2009 NOT May 2010.
    - Mosley was turning 39 and inactive.
    - Floyd said BEFORE the fight, my game plan will take into consideration that Mosley is now an OLD fighter.

Marquez wasnt ranked #2 P4P when Mayweather fought him?

Mayweather fought Marquez @ 142lbs and Manny doesnt even want to fight Marquez @ 147lbs..lol He would rather fight Mosley.

Why is not a good win?

If there were no modern weight classes and the 140 division didn't exist like in the old days, The 135 pound (Lightweight) Champion would have to move up to 147 Pounds. It was the next weight class if you wanted to win the Title.

And that's what JMM attempted to do and faile
        d.

Why are you clutching at staws. I already covered that by saying "say what you will about his opponents being too small, too old, too pale. And here you go trying to **** on his resume.

God, we have some Low IQ'd morons in here who argue like 1st graders.

Just accept the fact of this thread, that he fought Top 10 guys on paper and move on.

Mayweather weighed in at 146 when he fought Marquez so the first part of your argument makes no sense. And yes a Mosley fight sucks, but so does a Marquez fight at 147. I'd rather Pacquiao take neither.

I knew that Marquez was in the Top 5, I didn't say that he was # 5.

I knew that Mosley was somewhere in the Top 5 but didn't bother looking it up, I didn't say he was # 5.

What Mayweather said is irrelevant. His job is to nitpick and break down his opponents disabilities.

This is where rational talking-heads go back to the facts at hand.

Fact: Shane Mosley was the WBA Welterweight Champion and considered #1 in that weight class.

Fact #2: Whoever was going to beat him, was gonna be the Man at 147, regardless of his inactivity. Whether it was WBA's # 14 ranked contender who we never heard of...OR.....whether it was going to be a P4P Elite like Pacquiao or Mayweather.

                Fact #3:
It wasn't Pacquiao who beat Mosley when he was the Man of the division, it was Mayweather. Pacquiao is fighting him now when he is no longer a Title Holder or Championship contender at 147.

                  Isn't the WW limit 140-147lbs?

Exactly, I don't care where JMM is ranked in a mythical opinion based ranking. If Pac doesn't fight him at 135 then fight is just as garbage as the Shane fight.

P4P is not a weight-class. You fight the best in the division you going to fight in. You don't fight the P4P fighter at a division that they're not the best in.

Is like giving Pac credit for beating Martinez at 147 cuz' he is high on a P4P list. Or B-Hop getting credit for beating Martinez at 175 cuz' he is high on a P4P list.

Fuck that we have weight-class fight the best in your weight-class. Props to Floyd for fighting the best WW in Shane at WW. Shame on Pac for not fighting the best available WW. And, if he fights JMM next above 140 then shame on Pac again. Because, where JMM ranks P4P means shit.
