Why the **** should Haye fight Chagaev?

David Haye has media and cultural cache. He can operate outside of the linear rules imposed on him by those corrupt sacks of ****.

Other fighters have already done this in the past. Barrera, Pac etc.

They don't need corrupt organizations to validate their existence.

Haye doesn't either, because The People are behind him now.

Haye doesn't need corrupt organisations? Haye has one of these "corrupt organisations" to thank for his current reputation here in Britain. If the WBA had sanctioned Klitschko vs Chagaev in 2009 then Klitschko would now hold the WBA title, and Haye wouldn't be receiving half the attention he is now. He has beaten a few washed up heavyweights and he's being paraded around the media as heavyweight champion when in reality all he has a is a paper strap and an average resume.
As for labelling Chagaev as a "bum", he has achieved more in the heavyweight division than Haye has. Adamek is more deserving of a title shot. I would rather see Haye fight Chagaev and prove that he deserves a shot at Klitschko, but I suppose that won't happen as Haye is running into retirement in October. If Haye retires in October with Valuev as his biggest win, he will be forgotten within five years.

Indeed, Gaye should be above earthly things such as fighting mandatories, and Wlad should have given him 80-20 split and kissed his feet in thanks that Gaye allowed him to fight him.

Cuz' Chagaev is a sick bum who doesn't deserve a title shot thats why.

Neither does Chisora.

Wlad is making a mockery of the division right now by stalling this way. He needs to drop the Chisora Charade™ and man up and fight Haye.

I don't think he will because imo, Haye took Wlads soul when he did this.

Haye should go after Vitali Klitschko instead as it looks like this fight is dead for now, and Vitali should be available between August and Haye's planned retirerment in October. But the main difference between these two fights is Haye's chances of a knockout would be much slimmer against Vitali, and I highly doubt that he could win a decision.
