The catch weight once again is irrelevent and usually the fighters that are given free passes at vacent titles usually havent won 10 world titles combined. Small detail you may have forgotten about.

And agree that a paper title is a paper title....what I was referring to is that at least Manny beat Cotto (who was the holder of said paper title) while the 154lb belt was vacant and basically Manny's to p/u (while paying the sanctioning fee)

The only won thats questionable is his one at 154 and more than likely he will legitimize it down the road by beating a top guy/champ at 154.

All this other stuff about his other titles being paper belts is straight up hating.

I agree with this. I think the whole 147 "paper" is bs, lets assume he beats Mosley and Mayweather stays "on vacation" who the hell else has better claim to be the man...Berto? The guy who hasn't fought any of the top WW's?

Yes it has except the catchweight thing but then again the catchweight is irrelevent so what exactly is you beef? I still don't see why Pac is being singled out here.

You kidding? I stopped watching after part IV.

Yeah, I hear you. Cotto's title was basically a paper one since he got it from fighting Michael Jennings after PW was stripped. That's bad but def not as bad the manufactured 154lb title.
