See, this is what I've been trying to say. Tunney and others keep claiming HBO is racist against Europeans and especially against the Klitschkos but that simply is not the case. HBO is an American company so of course they will be more likely to show Americans for stronger ratings but they aren't racist at all. Americans aren't interested in Heavyweight bouts and that's why they haven't been on the network. A Klitschko/Adamek or Klitschko/Haye fight is a fight that the American public wants to see and that is why it didn't take long for HBO to snatch it up.

No Haye fights have ever been on HBO. The point is HBO isn't racist against any one person or culture. The Klitschkos haven't been on HBO as of late because the matchups that they are in have been luckluster and the opponents in the division are garbage. Now a good fight comes around and HBO is willing to show it. If the right fight comes around HBO is more than willing to televise it. This should put all that racist talk to bed.

It wasn't racism at all, HBO just didn't want to televise the Klits against the bums they've been fighting.

Now that a compelling opponent is on the schedule (an Eastern European opponent at that!) they are more than willing to put the fight on the air.

Having Wlad on American television will do more harm than good. What if a casual fan turns into this fight? Only too see an absolute ****in snooze fest and say **** it and never watch boxing again?

If a casual fan who might be new to boxing sees an exciting fight, he gonna wanna see more and might develop into a serious fan eventually. If a casual fan who might be new to boxing sees a Wlad fight, what you think gonna happen? I'll tell you what the **** is going to happen, he is gonna say **** this **** and turn it off after 3 rounds... tops.
