It doesn't matter, what matters is JMM's viability and marketability as Pacquiao's opponent. Oscar De La Hoya could lose and comeback in the next fight and ask for a similar split because he retained marketability despite the loss. JMM has retained his viability and marketability as an opponent because of his 2 easy wins on the stages they were on, but most importantly because he's done what he has against Pacquiao in the past.

I can argue that JMM's marketability has gone up after the exposure from the Mayweather fight because Marquez-Diaz II sold close to double what Casamayor-Marquez did.

If he beats a Bradley or Alexander, but it's in front of a crowd of only 5K, do you think Arum would accept the $5M package... of course not because it's not about wins and losses, it's about how much he can add to the bottom line.
