Comments Thread For: Arum Responds To Marquez on Pacquiao Fight Claims

JMM knows he wouldn't fare as well against Pac now.. it's 2011 *****esComment

What they (Team Mayweather and Pac) should do is wait for Floyd's legal problems to subside, sign the contracts, take the damn tests so Floyd can finally slap this little toddler around for 12 rounds.Comment

JMM deserved to ask for more against Pacquiao because he will play a part in selling the PPV. They already have the built in history and record for the most PPV's sold for a fight under 130. Pacquiao-Marquez II sold 400K
JMM got almost 25% of the guaranteed money against Mayweather (Mayweather was guaranteed $10M) and that was only because it was uncertain as to how much the fight would actually sell or he might've gotten more. Pacquiao gets guaranteed more than $15M, if we were to stick to what he got against Mayweather, $5M is around what he should get.
Arum had Mosley locked in, since right after the Margarito fight when Mosley went to Top Rank and told him he wasn't with GBP anymore. I remember a tweet around November that was posted on here, when Mosley wasn't even thought of as the primary option, where he said he was going to fight Pacquiao and plenty called him crazy. Mosley was always the option.Comment

I didn't like the marg fight and I don't like the mosley fight.
arum is scum and is probably ripping off all his boxers right now.
but that doesn't mean that jmm ain't overpricing himself, because he is!
now go stick your foot in your mouth idiot.Comment

how much is mosley expected to make?
i thought manny was the cash cow as his dumb ass fans say if thats true than marquez should get more against manny than he did against floyd
manny high guarantee has only been 7.7 yet if he was to fight floyd i bet all his fans will feel that he deserves more than 7.7 guarantee so why not the same for marquez?
Where do you get Pacquiao making $7.7 from? He's been making more than that in his last few fights.Comment

but coming off a humiliating loss to wifebeater and whuppin on juan diaz who he already beat, and then whupping on katsidis doesn't get him more than what he got for wifebeater.
I mean c'mon!Comment

c'mon man you don't need to see those emails, all you have to do is look at jmm's history of overpricing himself.
jmm priced himself out of a fight with morales when both were with top rank.
jmm priced himself out of an immediate rematch with pac.
the only sane conclusion is that jmm priced himself out of a rubbermatch with pac. there's no way jmm is making more than what he made against wifebeater. no ****in way.Comment
