Trouble against Enzo in the 2 rounds it took to destroy his career lol what fight were you watching, Mormeck held the title for 4 years if you value longevity so much before Haye took in off him in his hometown getting up off the floor so yeah that probably proves he is a great fighter. Longevity doesnt prove much unless your fighting other great fighters during your time. Awaits response that doesnt really make any sense.

Of course not when youre beating up bums......if every one of those title defences were against top guys, then we can talk and I will give Gomez much more credit.

Thats like me saying Zsolt Erdie is one of the best light heavyweights ever when hes faced very few good fighters despite having a ton of title defences.
Or saying Andre Berto is better than Roberto Duran because he made more title defences. its ludicrous.

oh and a paper title doesnt mean much anyway. He was only one champ out of 3, maybe 4, so the title defences mean even less.

During the short period that Haye had his title, he beat the #1 Cruiserweight and the the #5? Cruiserweight. not the best record ever, no.

but certainly better than a a guy that only beat one top fighter during 3 years of being champion.

Years of defending your title TEN times is way better than ONE defense, as in the case of Gomez vs Haye. And Gomez is a good HW as well, beatin McCall and Virchis, he just ran into the monster Vitaly, otherwise he would be HW champ if it was say Peter in his place or Haye.

Wow he beat a 40 year old mental patient your right that makes him a good HW and Vitali beat a 36 year old shot fighter

Him being unstoppable at CW is not really a statement you can make with any real validity since he was Champ for such a short time. Had he stuck around he might have taken on Cunningham or Adamek, and you would be able to more definitively make that claim. In the absence of any really outstanding fighters he beat, you look to longevity and the manner of wins in order to evaluate a champion's reign. I'd like to see you argue, in your own words, why you consider Haye as the best CW of all time, possibly or not.

              tell me. how?

heres a fun example. Andre Berto has 5 title defences. 0 wins over top ten fighters and has been a champ for about 2 and a half years now.
Roberto Duran has 0 title defences, but beat Carlos Palomino(former lineal champ) and Ray Leonard(current lineal champ and one of the best welterweights ever). oh and a win over the #8 rated Nsubuga

who has the better record at Welterweight?

Gomez only beat ONE TOP FIGHTER his entire time at Cruiserweight, although he did beat him twice. at best that guy was only #3.
Haye beat the #1 Cruiserweight in the world along with another top 5 one.
who has the better record at Cruiserweight?

Now for heavyweight, Gomez has a win over a 40+ year old man and Virchis. neither were top ten fighters.
Haye has a win over Valuev and Ruiz, both top ten fighters, and also has two title defences(which you find significant for some reason)
Who has the better record at Heavyweight?

              Im just stating facts here.

Point is both their heavyweight resumes are pretty poor compared to previous champs they need to fight each other but Haye can at least say he unified the CW division while Wlad cant even say he unified the worst era in HW division history
