    Double standard on catch-weights

I hear a lot of people complaining about Manny's catch-weights, which is fair enough as I'm not a fan of them myself. But the funny thing is, a lot of this is coming from Hopkins nuthuggers which is highly hypocritical. Hopkins fought at three catch-weights (one more than Manny!), the key difference being he was fighting guys smaller than him at unnatural weights. Is fighting Pavlik and Winky at 170 acceptable?

Floyd's groupies are spouting the same ****e and their hero fought at a catch-weight against a bloated up LW and still failed to make weight. Why is there a double standard? These same ******ed Hopkins fans are calling Manny the "Catch-weight King" yet their midget beating idol has fought at more catch-weights. Logic defies these blind fanboys.

I wonder why Paul Williams fans have been silent about this issue lately? haha

but yeah, hopkins fans are pros on the subject. Floyd fans refuse to acknowledge the scales at the JMM fight, as if they never weighed in.

just because it isn't for a belt doesn't make it less of a farce.

              Winky & Pavlik for B-Hop weren't for titles.Floyd-Marquez wasn't for titles.The Punisher-Martinez shouldn't have been at a catchweight.

But Ryann, the biggest farce in boxing in 2010was Pacman-Margarito at 150 for the title, don't act like it wasn't.

                  Manny has fought 3 aswell.

                  1) ODLH at 145lbs. To put this into perspective, Floyd fought him at 154lbs.
                  2) Cotto at 145lbs.
                  3) Margarito at 150lbs.

All in the space of 2 years.

ODLH was NOT at a catchweight. They fought at 147, requested at ODLH's request.
