Why Is the Chirosa Fight Such a Big Deal to Haye?

Nah, Haye scuppered it. He ran out of negotiations calling his potential opponent a coward. When he could have waited until April. The fight was hard enough to arrange for July, let alone the summer months when TV networks are reluctant to televise boxing. And Wlad may have his own mandatories after fighting Chisora to deal with before a fight with Haye can be made. July 2nd was a great date for everybody. Wlad scuppered it.Comment

Giving up the title would give the Klit's even more ammunition to use at the negotiation table. And why should Haye have to give up his title? Why? Because the WBA says so? Just forfeit the title. Like I said earlier, he didn't even beat the proper champion (Chagaev) in the first place. Technically, that should be Wlad's title, seeing as Chagaev didn't ever lose it in the ring in the first place. I'm really starting to think more and more, that David Haye simply doesn't want this fight. He's been presented with NUMEROUS opportunities to make it happen, and comes up with some sort of excuse EVERY TIME.Comment

Their both annoying and both divas.
I actually thought this would happen. In boxing we seem to have to analyze who ducked who more than we have to analyze who will beat who when they fight..Comment

Why is that smart guy? I'm an idiot, but Wlad had already CLEARLY agreed to fight Haye after fighting Chirosa. He wanted to stay active. It's not unheard of in boxing. British people will clearly buy any line of crap David Haye feeds them. I hope one day that either Klitshcko fights Haye, and exposes him for the fraud he is. This is b.s. pure and simple. If Wlad backed out, that would be one thing, but if he wants to fight a tune-up, why not? This is a very weak reason for the fight not getting made on Haye's part. Once again, as I've stated previously, it would be to Haye's ADVANTAGE. He doesn't want the fight, pure and simple.Comment

"oh, if haye really wanted the fight he would just vacate his title, bblah blah"
if wlad really wanted the fight he would'nt be fighting the waste of time chisora, he could get more work in against some sparring partners

Why does Wlad fighting Chirosa have anything to do with this fight? If he wants a tune-up, is he not entitled to that much, seeing as he's been inactive? Come on man, it's not like Wlad's making absurd demands here. If he thinks he can fight two fights that close to each other, I say let him!Comment
