Fighting Mosley = cherrypicking???

From a non bias view point. Before Floyd sign to fight SSM, people said he would never fight him because it was the most risk fight for him(not including manny). He took the fight and won impressively. The same people then claimed that the fight was only picked as SSM is old and over the hill. Then the same people again are now defending Manny fighting SSM. Contradiction much or?

Who would've ever thought that fighting Sugar Shane would one day be called a cherrypicked fight?

This is just a brief discussion that I had with some of San Francisco P.D on boxing this am....(I work for the Govt.)

A buddy of mine was wearing a grey MP pullover hoodie (who is Samoan)...and the cops remarked "nice sweater.....what you guys think about him fighting Mosley?"

4 cops...2 black, 1 latino and 1 white....the 2 black cops and the white cop said Mosley still has a punchers chance and is very live....the latino cop flat out said "Pinche' cherrypicking mutherf%&".

Then the other three started busting his ass about why? Cuz he beat up all the latino fighters??? i just sat back and watched our taxpayer dollars at work...

Mosley isn't just a fighter with a punchers chance, he is a damn good fighter with speed that goes along with his big punches.

I just think he isn't as fast as his younger days, and to top it all he is coming off from two luckluster performances.

Furthermore, I believe there are other fights out there that can be made that are more competitive. . . I am sure you would agree with me if I say Berto or jmm would have been a better bout for Pacquiao.

if Floyd had signed to fight Clottey or Marg the Pac fans would be painting Floyd's hands red...and you dudes know it!!....dudes be trying to disect this and that to make it fit whatever agenda they have.....fact is, Manny didn't want none when the gun was fully loaded.....he waits till the clip is about empty and then accepts the fight...str8 up b!tch move.....but the Pacboys will find some way to sugarcoat things.....p4p there's not a more exciting fighter in the game than Manny...hands down.....but lets call a spade a spade here....Manny is DEFINITELY cherry pickin'.....just like when B.Hop fought Roy in April....that was DEFINITELY cherry pickin' imo....and NO WAY did I ever think fighting Roy or Shane would be considered cherry pickin'.....it just proves that if you've been wrong before....there's a good chance you could be wrong again!!

Before Mosley fought Mayweather, wasn't Mosley all over TV and the internet begging for a fight w/ Pac. He even was willing to go down to 142 to get the fight and they wouldn't fight him. But he then loses to Mayweather and draws w/ Mora and now they want to fight him, and that's NOT cherrypicking? If that's not cherrypicking then what is?
