It's sickening the amount of disrespect displayed in NSB. Mosley is deserving of the Pac fight just as much as BHop deserved the Tarver fight after losing twice to Jermain Taylor (F'n Jermain Taylor). Win, lose or draw, Mosley has done enough in his career to deserves this fight.

I've been critical of Mosley since the Mayorga fight and predicted his defeat to FMJ. But as the old addage goes "Styles makes fights". This could turn out to be an exciting match in which he KO's Pac. The more likely out come is a fight like the Pac Cotto: exciting 4 rounds, then Pac dominates. Mosley will probably lose, but he can hurt Pac, just like he hurt FMJ, maybe worse.

And for those with short term memory loss.. Earlier this year beating Mosley was good enough to elevate FMJ as Yahoo!'s #1 p4p after the fight. So why isn't he good enough to fight Pac? Besides Mosley who is, Marquez? Marquez @ WW was good enough for FMJ to garner a couple of boxing writer's #1 votes in Yahoo!'s p4p, but the consensus is he's a mismatch for Pac @ WW. If a Kastidis left hook put JMM on his back, imagine what a Mosley left hook would do (Bring out the stretcher). Berto? Whose best competition was a disputed decision over southpaw Luis Collazo. The same Collazo Mosley dominated for 12 rds.

Mosley is the clear welterweight choice. Show the man some respect.

Collazo gave Berto a good fight, Mosley whooped Collazo....Marquez is a lightweight, okay that's all cool and I can't argue with facts, but Mosley hasn't looked good since Margarito, and before Margarito? I would've preferred Marquez....In any case, I can't say Mosley has done anything that warrants this fight, other than leave Golden Boy LOL. But you have to account for the people judging this fight, critics of this fight, half of whom are critics of Manny Pacquiao, do you expect them to praise this bout? or dispute it even more, forgetting the high standard many of them held Mosley prior to the Mayweather fight, and after (still calling him the 2nd/3rd best welter in order to amplify Mayweather's win)... are we saying Mayweather fought a bum now, or what? It's almost laughable how much things have changed. 2ndly, stop giving a **** what anybody else says....

mosley has been competeing world class level for over a decade now who still has the hunger to train..keep n shape n fight at this age...so let him! d dude has never ducked anyone..and ended up fighting the fighters who were being ducked. dats more dan pac can already say.

And, it wasn't earlier this year. And, a lot has changed since then. When Floyd beat him, Mosley was arguably the #1 WW, lineal champ coming off an impressive win. Now, Mosley is coming from a Floyd beat down and in a fight where he looked like crap against Mora.

Pacquiao fighting Mosley is disrespecting Mosley. Mosley should have fought Berto than retired. It was easily a winnable fight, but if he did lose it might not have been that bad and the best thing about it is he would pass some of his fame to the next generation, something that has happened almost every generation up until now

I cannot understand how Pac's fighting mosley is disrespecting him. I myself don't want the fight to happen, but Mosley WANTED this fight. How is Pac disrespecting him by giving him what so many other people wanted and fighting him?

And let's be real here. Could you honestly compare how much money mosley would make fighting Pac versus fighting Berto? Mosley has been through wars and he's old. He obviously wants one last good payday just like any old fighter would naturally want.

Mosley's been pleasing the fans for years. I guess he felt he wanted to do something for himself this time.

MOST of the blame goes to Pac for this fight. SOME of it goes to Mosley cause obviously this fight wouldn't happen if he didn't agree to fight Pac. If Mosley didn't submit his application for the Pacman sweepstakes, then there would have only been two choices for Pac to fight and not three.
