You don't win a fight bu running away for 4 rounds when your lead to begin with was not that serious. Watch it over and you will see Tito was allowing those little tap flurries because they were not effective. Oscar's running was the effective part as far as him not getting hurt. When we're talking about winning the last 4 rounds... Nah, he was scared and lost them all. You would have to believe that Tito did not win 2 rounds from 1-7 and that is just not so.

Could have gone either way depending on what you like to see in the ring. Taps and toes or stalker KO mindset.
I had it 7-5 tito....i had it 5-2 for Oscar after the 7th....IMO he didnt win the last 5 rounds at all...

Care to explain why you believe Oscar should've won that fight? Watch the fight again, when Trinidad connects solidly and Oscar feels the power, DLH hits the gas and begins track practice. The truth is if Oscar wouldn't have run he would've gotten knocked the **** out. Why do you think he ran so much...

watched it live..thought oscar won it. After they read the scores, Everyone i was watching it with was also thinking WTF???

I remember Don Kings laugh and smile, we were thinking rematch and he was going to make a ton more money. Everyone agreed (at the time) he had something to do with the decision.

After 12 years (wow), who knows

LOl Oscar didnt want the rematch...he felt like he should get more money. If Oscar felt like it was a boxing clinic he would have rematched and did the same thing...he was scared of the power. He really didnt want it he was acting

I wouldn't call Tito winning a robbery. I thought Oscar did just enough to edge out a victory based on the early rounds. He really did outclass Tito early on.

I personally would have been okay with a draw. Oscar coasting at the end of the biggest fight in his career was just ridiculous.
