The "boxing clinic" myth is BS. Oscar pity patted A LOT and landed a LOT less than most people think. Tito did a great job of avoiding a lot of those taps and was the aggressor from the opening bell with Oscar on his toes tapping Tito's gloves all night except for the few decent shots he may have landed.
You don't win a fight bu running away for 4 rounds when your lead to begin with was not that serious. Watch it over and you will see Tito was allowing those little tap flurries because they were not effective. Oscar's running was the effective part as far as him not getting hurt. When we're talking about winning the last 4 rounds... Nah, he was scared and lost them all. You would have to believe that Tito did not win 2 rounds from 1-7 and that is just not so.
Could have gone either way depending on what you like to see in the ring. Taps and toes or stalker KO mindset.

I thought Oscar clearly won, but had I been a judge I would have given it to Tito. I know it's insane, but what the hell was Tito suppose to do against that running?

I gave the last 3-4 rounds to Tito and it is conceivable that Tito won 2 rounds somewhere in the 1-7th rounds.
I just watched the Pro-Oscar highlights of that fight, and I saw Tito making Oscar miss A LOT of those pitty pat shots that got the crown thinking Oscar was Roy Jones.
