Oscar VS Tito Who really won?

A champion does not run in all of the championship rounds, he secures the win by effectively engaging his opponent. Retreating for the last third of the fight shows cowardice and ultimately, defeat. If Oscar wanted the win he should've fought for it. Instead he ran and gave Trinidad the chance to prove himself to the judges. If you can't respect that then erase that fight from your memory and try to move on with your life.

Half of me says Oscar schooled him and he got robbed.
The other half says he ran for multiple rounds and running doesn't win you fights. It's one thing to circle and box it's a completely other thing to RUN. Oscar RAN.
However I don't think Tito did enough to win the fight. Oscar got robbed.

You don't win a fight bu running away for 4 rounds when your lead to begin with was not that serious. Watch it over and you will see Tito was allowing those little tap flurries because they were not effective. Oscar's running was the effective part as far as him not getting hurt. When we're talking about winning the last 4 rounds... Nah, he was scared and lost them all. You would have to believe that Tito did not win 2 rounds from 1-7 and that is just not so.
Could have gone either way depending on what you like to see in the ring. Taps and toes or stalker KO mindset.Originally posted by Dominicano Soy! View PostI think Tito came to fight and Oscar came to avoid feeling any shots period.
I gave the last 3-4 rounds to Tito and it is conceivable that Tito won 2 rounds somewhere in the 1-7th rounds.
I just watched the Pro-Oscar highlights of that fight, and I saw Tito making Oscar miss A LOT of those pitty pat shots that got the crown thinking Oscar was Roy Jones.
Oscar missed a lot, Tito slipped most of those pitty pats and was the effective agressor, because he turn Oscar into a runner wich he clear wasnt trough out his career, just in the Tito fight
