yeah he went to a draw with Sergio Mora in the very next fight that most people thought Mora won. Mosley got booed out of the arena. That is the Mosley Floyd fought. Rankings don't matter. Fighters age over-night all the time. This isn't new.

Where was Louis ranked when Marciano smoked him? 2nd. Marciano beat a prime Louis right?

So if floyd beat Pac or Martinez would you give him credit or say they aged over night?

I agree with the threadstarter. It's Mosley followed by Oscar then JMM.

Look guys...just see it 50 years from now. Those 3 are the prominent names that will be mostly remembered.

              that about seals his legacy.
that makes no sense. u dont have to face atg fighters to be an atg. and even if u accuse him of cherry picking, the only weight u can make a valid claim is at ww. at the other weights he fought at, he fought legitimate challenges. and even at ww, the fighters he fought were for the most part, top fighters. its hard to criticize who he fought as much as who he didnt. step your knowledge up son. sure he should have fought cotto, margs, and he should fight pac. but how do u criticize fights against judah, hatton, mosely, etc??? those were all top fights. floyds resume is legit. could it be better??? yea. but to say its not atg worthy is just dumb.

so why bother--diego was one of the top 130 lb fighters when floyd fought him--he was also undefeated as was floyd---it was the fight of all fights at that time in the sfw division--stop playing yourself dumby--
so diego was one of the best 130 lbs.

so since when do being one of the best at your weight division with no real period of title dominance or without beating other HOF fighters get you in the HOF?

                Answer the question.

and now manny is about to fight him--no matter what you say, shane was in good shape when floyd fought him--he dominated the former ww champion who was supposed to kill him and proved that he was not past it---

when should floyd have fought him then? tell me that--

castillo and corrales are both borderline hofers. just like cotto and a few other fighters i can name. they may get in they may not. but both fighters are great names to have on a resume.
