Really? I thought the reason Mexicans hated him so much was because he was a pretty boy getting all the women.

Anyway, as to the topic....Who is the number one guy win, lose or draw then? There are so many fighters with resumes like that. Classic gatekeepers have resumes close to that. A guy like Pat Lawlor has a better resume win, lose or draw than any current fighter today; Roberto Duran, Wilfred Benitez, Joe Calzaghe, undefeated John David Jackson, Terry Norris, Hector Camacho, Vinny Paz, Rene Arredondo and quite a few other top fighters and champions.

Then you have the guys who are top ATGs with that many greats and more, though they usually have them as wins rather than losses as Oscar does. His resume is great, and better than anyone fighting today including Pac and Mayweather, as again people forget the lesser known champions he fought because they were before this generation of fans. The guys like Gonzalez, Paez, Ruelas blah blah are greater than anyone like Ledwaba, Larios, that get listed as great wins for Pacman.

But still, when you look back just recently to the last great golden boxing era you have many fighters with resumes like that. Tommy Hearns; Duran, Leonard, Hagler, Benitez, Cuevas, Barkley (people forget that Barkley was a three division champ with a minor heavyweight title win too from WBC heavyweight champ Coetzee), Andries, Roldan, Muangsurin, Virgill Hill etc.

That's not even looking at someone like Duran and Leonard who's resumes are second to none. There was no hesitation in fighting the very, very best time after time again and again. Each and every one of those guys would have fought Mayweather, Pacquiao, Martinez and everyone in between. So different now.

Ali is the only boxer I can think of right now with a better resume!
              are you serious?

first off, hoe bout removing gatti first thing, cuz he looked like oscar's child in that fight,

second i can name 10 old school fighters with entirely better resumes, and sweet pea.

resume consists of who you foguht and what happened in those fights. pea's resume trumps oscars

Yeah, like it or not, he did what all the top fighters of this era refuse to do and that is fight the very very best no matter the risk.

But he was competitive in every fight he was in. While clearly past his prime, he only lost a SD to Mayweather in a fight many thought he won. Even in his only KO loss, he was still winning the fight on one scorecard. And the only fight one can really say he was completely dominated in was his last fight vs the best fighter alive today, Manny Pacquiao, where he was way past prime, dehydrated and weight drained.

And Tito's record while impressive, does not measure up to Oscar's. Tito, while in his prime, got schooled and KO'd by Hopkins. Then got shutout and embarrassed by Winky and was simply beat and knocked down twice by a passed his prime RJ.

Oscar's resume is one of the most impressive in boxing today and the reason why he's made more money than any other fighter in the history of the sport.
