Well not me that is for sure.

I will watch Cotto-Mayorga press conference cuz' that would be more exciting than both fights.

But, I rather watch a more competitive fight for free than just watch a tune up beat down for PPV.

That is just me though.

Yup, if this fight is put up against that PPV (which will probably be the case, I could see dates moved somehow though) there is no chance I'll buy that PPV (barring Soto-Antillon 2 on the undercard).

I've heard people saying this could be a snoozer because Dzinziruk isn't one of these guys that lets it hang out, and my only time watching him on Shobox against Dawson I kind of got that impression too. The fight with Pirog would've been better and HBO is missing the ball here. I heard Martinez and his camp say they didn't want that fight with Pirog because they didn't want to fight for a sanctioning body that stripped them and I can't say I don't understand his plight. Pirog has a paper belt that was given to him just because he KOd an inexperienced prospect in Jacobs.

I think the reason people are wondering is because Martinez wants to fight better fighters IE Pac, Mayweather, Cotto etc....

I hope HBO's push bites them in the ass and Showtime ends up with Sergio Martinez's next fight. I am sick of HBO pretending to be a promoter and shoving crap down our throats. Personally, I think they should have taken Cotto vs. Mayorga bout because it's a very popular fighter (Cotto) vs. a decent fighter who knows how to promote his fights (Mayorga). I know one thing, though, I won't be paying for Cotto vs. Mayorga or Sergio vs. somebody I never even heard of...

Oh and don't forget when Martinez gave his "list of 9 fighters" that he'd fight to HBO a few months ago Dzinziruk's name wasn't included...even though such world beaters as Mosley, Martyrosian, Mora, Collozo, Duddy, Chavez, Gomez etc were listed.
