Is it impossible for a boxing fan to simply think testing should be stricter?

Why cant we simply want our "heroes", "idols", or favorite boxers to be equal to their opponent?
(without siding or downing any boxer)

PLEASE DO NOT MENTION PAC IN THIS THREAD
this is lame, there are bigger issues in boxing than these ****** drug tests. one for instance is the judging and scoring. or what about poor refereeing? boxing politics and favoritism's, promoters and managers screwing the fighters, or how about the sanctioning bodies fleecing the fighters and making outrageous demands so that only certain fights get made.

drug tests and testing is apart of boxing, but so is the governing bodies, who make the test requirements and the like, there is more need for the credibility of boxing as a sport and institution that needs to be corrected and needs more attention that some MORE drug testing.

how about drug testing for the judges and refs? lets take it a step further, why not investigate the judges and refs for conflict of interests in certain fights or venues???

why not be concerned about that? rather than some individual aspect of the sport...

all this crap is a black eye to the sport, it's a assault on boxing from within, when the real problems are being ignored.

fans demand and want more drug testing, bullsheit, we want fair and honest fights, and judging and scoring. once we have that fixed then lets look to make boxing more efficient.

lets look to make boxing better..... extra drug testing, ost, whatever the heel is being called for, isnt going to make things better, just waste time and money, it isnt going to add credibility to the sport, it's noting going to make boxing and better or worse and since there is no boxing union or general governing body to mandate and control such a policy, it would make for the ultimate excuse as to not fight a guy, or to even fix fights, don't think for a second that any drug test isnt cheat-able, don't think for one second that they're infallible, because they're easily cheated, easily corruptible, and has a WIDE variety of ways of being tainted or compromised.....

why cant these so called fans not see and look at the real problems facing our sport and address them, make them the focus of what is important in boxing and the topic of discussion? not some distraction that is designed to keep our eyes off of the real problems and corruption.

drug test refs, judges, and lobotomize half wit fans with this bullchit crybaby crap about drug tests, for **** sake.

The money excuse is great for the rich promoters, and anyone else connected to boxing that loses by implemented stricter testing. But when a fan of boxing comes in here as if he will lose some money. CMON!!!!

        Were the fans!!
The promoters will not go broke, the boxers will not go broke, The sanctioning bodies wont either. So stop it! and leave them with the bullcrap excuses.

If its run like taxes in which the bigger earners give more money....everyone still wins.
even a bullcrap fight makes more money than you and I in a year so stop feeling bad for these guys...Not to mention its for THEIR own good.
boxing fans wants to see the fight not the useless ost.

No one was really speaking of this oh so dire issue before the PED accusations. It's hard not to associate it with a certain faction.

Think that the drug testing in boxing is fine as it is. Maybe more analysis, but blood doesn't seem necessary. HGH has no athletic benefits and that's all you're getting into with blood.

Blood is just more invasive. Why do you want guys getting stuck in the arm 5 times every 6 months when you already catch cheats like Mosley through the standard practices.

fans have nothing to do with testing, moron... fans have nothing to say about the rules or negotiation procedures either.. even if they have, they will just sound like a dumb **** like you (TS)... its like trying to talk to arum to negotiate in behalf of the fans, arum will just pull a middle finger and say: go **** yourself...

question should be: why can't boxing commissions simply want better drug testing...

Stop twisting **** up in ur dome, homey, better drug testing to make sure fighters are clean,is what every real fight fans want!!But Floyd, doesn't get to accuse Pacman, slander his name & call it righteousness, that isn't how U clean up anything, that just sounds like an excuse not to fight him because he fears he may lose.

Thats like saying, where were all the people making a big stink about sitting in the back of the bus.....
No one really said anything until Rosa Parks made an issue out of it.
As if to say it was ok before?

Many whites hated her for taking a stance. They were still wrong.

If Rosa Parks was a lier, cheater, Hoe or whatever.
would it had made the movement "not worthy".

So who cares who started the outcry for better testing, Its a good thing. So lets not turn our backs on it.
now you're comparing floyd's drug campaign to Rosa Park?

no one is against better drug testing, but the testing shouldn't be used as an excuse for the biggest fight in years not to happen.
