Why cant boxing fans simply want better drug testing..

nobody is against better drug testing, but it has to be available to all boxers and it has to be affordable.

When we believe there are users in the sport, Why am I a hater?
The same guys that say "no one is against stricter testing is the same guys who call fans "*****s" when they want the testing?

I heard no such name calling when Shane Mosley agreed to the test. That means most agreed it was OK for one but not another.
But the name calling came right back for "So and so".

where were you guys when the likes of shane mosley were able to test negative and was on PED's?

funny there was no outcry from you guys then but when someone who has never tested positive before refused a test that no one else has to take, then he is on drugs.

I want better testing... but not if it gets in the way of the biggest fight in the last 10 years.

That's true....but most people (like me and probably you) didn't know boxing's testing procedures. I just assumed it was the same style as they do in am's for olympics and the like.

This controversy has highlighted a certain FACT that no one can dispute:


Professional boxing's PED detection regime is a complete and utter disgrace!

nobody knows because nobody cares. and even if you knew the commission's testing procedures, how do you know that it is effective or not? you have to have at least a basic knowledge of how these different drug testing works and i believe most of us here lack that knowledge so for some people who are saying that they support this kind of testing eventhough they don't really understand what it's all about is ridiculous and ******.
the thing is, any improvement in drug testing for pro boxing can not be done overnight. there's a reason why the different state commissions are not implementing blood testing whether it's politically motivated or simply it's not cost effective.

Let us support it if its under commission's regulation. Also, not all fight can afford this expensive testing.

Oh btw, why wasnt Pascal asked Bhop (both of them get under this test) when Pascal said Bhop might be under PEDs?

The money excuse is great for the rich promoters, and anyone else connected to boxing that loses by implemented stricter testing. But when a fan of boxing comes in here as if he will lose some money. CMON!!!!

If its run like taxes in which the bigger earners give more money....everyone still wins.
