Boxing will always need some mexican help because they are exciting fighters to watch. I think right now after JMM, Montiel is the 2nd best. Love to watch Montiel fights!

Exactly, so he really didn't waste his talent now did he? Yes he could have accomplished more but to be considered an ATG and for some to be considered the GOAT from Mexico at worst #2 out of Mexico behind JCC did not really waste anything now did he? Yes he could of have accomplished more. But, while he was alive he accomplished more than most fighters do in a 15 year careere. So how can you call that a waste? Is a tragic lost no doubt but to really call it a waste? You can name ATG Mexican fighters, You can name ATG figthers period from any nationality that wished that they had the resume of Salvador Sanchez.

However, Valero WTF did he accomplish? Forget ATG's and HOF'ers. How many active P4P fighters wishes they accomplished as much as Valero? I doubt any of them cuz he didn't accomplish anything. Which means he really wasted his talent.

Nobody is comparing them H2H, Nobody is comparing their accomplishments, nobody is comparing their rankings, and nobody is comparing how had more skills or talents. In all those comparisons Chava>Valero no doubt about it not even debatable.

Again to me Sanchez didn't waste his talent. Yes he could have accomplished more but he accomplished so much that I don't consider it a waste. However, Valero WTF did he accomplish? Do you see the difference?

mexican fighters will always be about, with a good number at the top of a lot of divisions, most being tough and entertaining.

but to count interim champs as real champions is a bit too much.

and did some one try say valero was mexican?.lol,really?.lack of basic facts is poor.

That was my thread man, I'm new here so my poll didn't come out right at all!! What I wanted people to discuss in the thread was to see how potential their careers would/could have if not for the losses, obviously people want to comment but not READ on what they are commenting. I KNOW they can't be compared by stats, careers, etc... but just wanted people to discuss career impact thats all!
