Because Jermain Taylor dropped him once and hurt him another time, Dirrell stunned him all night. Dirrell and Taylor don't exactly have 100% KO percentage. Johnson can really hurt you.

Froch's defense is shit, he gets hit too much, Johnson likes to swarm his opponents with punches. The chances of Froch getting knocked down/knocked out in this fight is high imo. So I would be surprised.

Yeah, of course I'd be surprised if it happened, simply because it's one of the least likely scenarios I see unfolding. Johnson's a tough old cookie with pretty good power and a relentless pressure fighting style, but a close fight with Dawson and a KO over Green have caused him to become a wee bit overrated on here (much as I hate that word). He'll not be an easy fight for Froch of course, in as much as he'll not be an easy fight for anyone, but I don't see him beating Froch unless Froch drastically overlooks him or suffers an injury during the fight like a cut or broken hand etc that swings things into Glen's favour. Realistically I see Froch taking the early rounds, losing a few of the mid rounds, then either coming on strong in the last few rounds or outboxing Glen to a decision depending on how he feels the preceding rounds have gone. I just feel that Glen doesn't have enough dimensions to his game to deal with Froch at this point. Sure, he can mix it up in the trenches, but Froch isn't a 100% face forward brawler, much as he likes to portray himself as such. If he feels a fighter is getting the best of him he isn't ashamed to back off and keep them at bay with his jab until he feels set to go at them again. And Johnson tends to go into a bit of a shell when he's boxed from the outside. I can see Froch controlling the ring for large portions of the fight, with Glen having a bit of success on the inside with digging bodyshots and uppercuts, but also taking a lot of punishment from Froch's brute force hook combos that can come round Glen's guard a la the Cloud fight. I can also see Glen catching Froch unawares with a couple of big overhand rights from the outside, but unlike Abraham he's not got the sort of raw power that can turn things around on a dime. Most likely scenario IMO is a close but clear UD for Froch.

Johnson was rocked against Cloud and was holding on at the end the fight from exhaustion. If Froch goes to the body the way he did against Abraham, he can slow him down. Johnson definitely doesn't have the power to stop Froch and hes shown to be a poor finisher.

yea, he has stamina issues now, but what did you expect at his age and against cloud? who hits harder than carl froch

froch was dropped against taylor, hurt against dirrell, kessler and chicken legged vs abraham

unless froch can unleash a big workrate of big combos of hooks and power that cloud was demonstrating vs johnson, there is no chance in hell, and even then he would'nt stop johnson

froch has ko'd only bums and unless you wanna count taylor who is out of it by the 6th, he really doesn't have the power
i think i've said this before, but joe calzaghe has more "KO's" than froch

No one has beaten him easily, and Glenn Johnson won't either.

It would be cool to see Johnson win, but he gets hit an awful lot himself.

Abraham didn't even hit Froch with anything clean, maybe 1 or 2 punches and he only throws 2-3 punches, Johnson does not do that shell defense, throwing 2-3 punches once a blue moon hoping for a KO. He's on you every minute of every round.
