Will anyone here be surprised when Glen Johnson KOs Carl Froch?

Johnson gets hit a lot.
Froch will hit him a lot.
He will get some licks in of course, but I don't see him winning this.

And Froch doesn't get hit a lot. We all know he graduated from the school of Pernell Whitaker.

Lol Froch lost to Dirrell and Kessler already, shot Taylor was beating him on the cards when he gassed out in the 12th. Froch is nothing special. No surprise if Johnson wins, no surprise if Froch wins.

The only surprise here would be Froch stopping Johnson. That's it, that's the only surprise for me. If that happens i'd be shocked.

It's no use arguing about this now. I mean if you have an opinion that's your opinion. I said my opinion, I don't want anyone trying to counter my opinion with what they think. You don't see me quoting any one in the thread about their initial opinion because I really don't care what they think. Let's wait to see what happens in the fight. Hopefully Johnson just wins but I wouldn't be surprised if he stops Froch. I mean why would I be surprised? Really, you'd be surprised? Surprised about a KO? What Johnson has 5 KO's now, Froch never been hurt now? What is this?

Exactly. People are shitting on Abraham at the moment, but he's still easily the most dangerous puncher in the division and the fact that he wasn't able to land literally more than a handful of punches on Froch must say something about Froch's ring generalship, if not his defensive prowess.

Your title says "when" Geln Johnson KOs Carl Froch, as if it is pre-determined to happen.

Nothing is impossible when two men collides in the ring, but I think Glen KOs Carl is highly improbable. Yes I will be surprised if it does happen.

froch was dropped against taylor, hurt against dirrell, kessler and chicken legged vs abraham

unless froch can unleash a big workrate of big combos of hooks and power that cloud was demonstrating vs johnson, there is no chance in hell, and even then he would'nt stop johnson

froch has ko'd only bums and unless you wanna count taylor who is out of it by the 6th, he really doesn't have the power

Froch is a much more accurate puncher than Cloud, a better boxer and has better stamina. The shot that rocked Glen was a punch he didn't see coming, and Froch has a lethal right uppercut. Also. you failed to acknowledge my point on Johnson being a horrible finisher. He had Judah and Dawson hurt badly, but couldn't finish.

See, Froch is one of those odd type of fighters that ordinary and even fairly experienced boxing fans tend to ridicule due to his horribly awkward and ugly fighting style, but who still ends up giving "superior" boxers the fights of their lives. At some point you need to revise your opinion about a guy no matter how much against the grain he may be to your preconceived notions of what is and what isn't a good boxer. Froch gets results, even if he doesn't look like Pernell Whitacker when he does so.

Froch is underrated on here. He's a fine fighter who showed some good defense lately.

All of the fighters that you mentioned who hurt Froch also have knockout power, where as Johnson is an accumulation puncher. Also there were times were he stunned both Kessler and Pascal, both have concrete chins. He badly bloodied Dirrells nose with a single jab as well. Hes very heavy handed.

Not sure why you're getting so worked up about people debating other people's prediction posts unless they're insulting when they do so. Otherwise, who does it harm? It might even help one to consider hitherto overlooked factors in a matchup and thus improve one's overall knowledge of the game, future predictions etc. I know it's happened to me several times, and is one of the reasons I continue to post here.

Once more, if you don't care what people think, and presumably don't expect them to care either, then why are you posting on a discussion forum. It's just empty words, right?
