No he didnt. The punch that KO'd him was flawless.

Martinez only got that punch right once. On the obvious KO.

Martinez did land that punch earlier, just not with the same leverage and timing.

As you said, it was flawless. Sergio got Williams coming onto him with a couple of little steps back, then he planted his left foot and timed it perfectly.

punch wasn't lucky at all. paul threw a lazy left hand with his right hand down and Sergio timed that shit perfectly

WRONG...He through his right hand when Paul through his right hand and landed a much sharper straight punch several times in the first round...When he finally got the timing perfect you can tell he sat down and really pivoted into it....He hoped away and was raising his hand before Pwill even touched the ground...

He landed that style of punch (head down, left hand over the top) throughout the first fight, and in the first round of the second fight. It just happened that he caught Williams with the best version of that punch he is ever likely to throw. Defensively Williams was all over the place and Martinez knew the punch was there to land. It was only a matter of time before that punch did big damage. If it didn't come in the second, it would have came later. Paul was getting tagged with it far too easily.
