They're just looking to get a rematch and they don't want to have to build Paul up in smaller fights first. Martinez KOs him next time and any other time.
They would be crazy to walk straight into a rematch with Martinez.

I think Sergio hit Williams so hard it gave his trainer brain damage. And I believe Williams got knocked out simply because he was and still is a very overrated fighter.

Peterson is a lousy trainer to have a tall fighter like Williams fighting in that style. He'll never be a champion again with this trainer. I would love to see Manny Steward train him. He would know how to teach him to take advantage of his height and reach.

Williams can only fight guys at 147 because he doesn't have the talent and the chin to beat guys that are his size. I'm tired of people giving this shit of oh, if he makes the weight he makes the weight. Sure, he can do whatever the fuck he wants. But how can you say he's a natural Welterweight when in fact, he was fighting at 154 and 160 throughout most of his career before he got on HBO?

By Williams going down to 147, that just tells me that him and his trainer have no desire to improve his boxing skills and defense and they just want to get by on physical attributes which is what he did until he started fighting guys more his size.

Peterson needs to stop crying over that punch! Paul got hit repetedly with it, period. If you consider the first fight also, he probably got hit with it every other punch. If you go back all the way to the first fight with Quintana he got tagged with the same punch over and over. There is a pattern here Peterson; while your boy Paul has zero defence, so get over it.

Paul needs to seriously work on his defence. He's fairly easy to hit. His busy offense is basically his defence. He's a southpaw and was very tall for his weight and he knows how to fight tall which made opponents not want to take the risk.

                    Lou comments

I agree with Lou, George needs to reflect on his training ability because in the first fight Paul got hit with that punch on several occassions; therefore, I fault George for not making the right defensive adjustments and in retrospect I question his training skills !

JHowever it was a great punch and Paul was doing extremely well untikl that KO punch. I watched that fight several timesnand Paul got reckless becayuse he was landing on Sergio at will.

A lot of NSB bandwagoners who only follow Pac and Floyd love to say that OPaul did nothing in that fight. Not true at all.
He absolutely landed that punch in the firstr several times in a round that Williams won, but he was stopped 2 minutes later so...

The Bottom line is that Sergio knocked him out cold, point blank, period...
