we can't tell whose deserving or not. Bottomline, this fight generates the public interest and will do good close to a 1M PPVs.

For sure, personally i cant wait for the rematch, i think its gonna be a great fight despite where they are now in their careers as opposed to their first fight, their styles will make for a great fight, but i think Cotto wins it this time around

Cotto's tune up fight with Mayorga is perfect for him before the Margarito rematch. The pressure style of Mayorga would provide Cotto the chance to further acclimatized himself to the bully style of Margarito.

The tune up should also give Cotto the opportunity to test his stamina. He was doing alright against Margarito until he gassed out in the later rounds. He also gassed out against Clottey. In his fight with Pac, he was breathing through the mouth as early as the 8th round.

Cotto has proven he can **** up with fast fighters the likes of Quintana, Judah & Mosley but not with a slow but relentless pressure fighter.
Margarito presented constant offensive pressure and eventually weared down Cotto's resistance. If he can solve this weakness (stamina), then he have a chance againts Margarito.

Otherwise, plaster or no plaster I see Margarito winning in similar fashion as the first fight. My opinion.

Hopefully he is good to go by June, Cotto deserves this rematch, cant wait, i think Cotto gets him this time.

I think Cotto will get Margo this time as well with Steward in his corner.

Every post I read from you are all hating on Cotto for some reason. The so called leg injury to clottey happend in the later rounds for one. Second since you want to bring up excuses how about the nasty cut that Cotto fought with through that entire fight and not only survived but pulled out a victory. It's easy to spot haters on here.

Mayorga isn't a gauge of how Cotto will do against Margarito in a rematch I don't think. And the funny thing is, it wouldn't suprise me to see Mayorga beat Cotto because if a low work rate fighter with a leg injury like Clottey can beat Cotto, then so can a bigger harder punching aggressive dude that lets it hang out like Mayorga can beat Cotto.

I can't wait for this fight. I'm really interested to see how cheato looks this time against cotto. I got no interest in seeing either of them face pac when someone wins though, there's no need for part two of that ****.

IMHO the layoff is way too long for Margarito. At this stage of his career he'll have ring rust not to mention Margarito with such a long time to prep smells like a classic over training scenario. As for his liscence as it stands now the fight would have to take place in Texas or PR. Unless of course Cotto and Mosely attend the hearing this time to help Margarito plead his case. And obviously they both owe Arum: Cotto for getting Margarito in the ring again and im sure getting the lions share of the proceeds and Mosely for convincing Manny to take that POS fight. Cotto will actually have a corner this time around in Steward. In Cotto-Margo I it was pathetic to see how clueless that corner was.

If Cotto works the body he stops Margarito this time. If he doesn't work the body like last time he'll wear down again and Margarito will stop him late again.

I'll take Cotto and Steward this time around but I'm Puerto Rican.....of course I think Cotto wins in the rematch.

Not to mention Pac has great stamina,something that Cotto never really had..I think Marga's will beat Cotto again as well,but the key to this fight for Cotto is what Stewart is able to do with Cotto..Stewart is a great trainer but if Cotto is to set in his ways of training he will lose again to Marga's..
