If you want to see how "past it" Cotto is, all one would have to do is see Mayweather come back and call out Cotto (again) and you'll see everyone say how shot he is NOW. Cotto is not the same and I personally think that Margarito cheated in that fight which is why I want to see Cotto vs Margarito II. Cotto vs Mayorga is such a ****ING disgrace.

Did anyone see Mayorga's last fight? I'm a huge boxing fan and while running on a treadmill at a non boxing gym, I watched the fight and had to explain how shyt of a fight that was as everyone was clowning the fact i'm a boxing fan. As if explaining Pac vs Clottey and Margarito and now Mosley is any different. Its just a disgrace.

But Cotto was pac's best win since "beating" JMM II. Its such a shame we get Mosley now. Its such a shame Mayweather is being a dumbass outside the ring.

Their are certain fighters that I would yield to that Pac has fought that could have beaten Pac at their best.. Acutally their is only 1 and that is Oscar De La Hoya... Pac would have beaten margarito, Cotto, Hatton, Clottey at their best anyway.

You are right imo. Same can easily be said about Mayweather. Problem is, Arum is the one that says "yes" or "no" for fighters like Cotto, Margarito, Clottey and Pac. We wouldn't have to say Floyd "could have" beaten them, then again when he was under Top Rank, Bob sad "no" to Floyd about fighting Cotto and wouldn't pay Floyd enough to fight Margarito so he left.

Margarito at the time he beat Cotto is arguable to say Pac beats him. The Margarito Pac got in with was done, just as Hatton was done. Clottey was a never has been and only got a shot because of Top Rank and Mosley is done. Mosley's only getting a shot now (2011) because he's not so golden, or is he just not so good? Eitherway theres an agenda by Bob and its not being 100% by giving Floyd all the credit because of certain fights not taking place. Bob can make or break a fight with Floyd better than anyone.

All nonsense aside, I got your point and pretty much agree.

You're funny or you might have abnormal condition of the mind same as your Idol OST is no longer an issue. Keeping busy with creating excuses for the Pacquiao-Mayweather to happen. Mayweather needs psychiatric help what a pity!

            - Cotto Margo II -- I've been waiting for Cotto's revenge.
            - Agree. Cotto was Pac's best win since beating JMM II.
            - I am not interested with Mayorga. And that match up against Cotto -- again Arum's genius plan. Mayorga is a working media hype boxer. Business wise boxing.

            - Mayweather could simply end up a fight with Cotto and earn a Unanimous decision.

            - A shot boxer could hardly win a fight with a class B or a journeyman fighter. Ex. Mosley is shot and Roy Jones is done. Anyways, there is no quite specific definition but that is my understanding. So I dont put Cotto in that category. But I admit that his yesterday's speed is declining gradually. Only the level of Cotto's opposition could really expose if he is shot or he is done.

            - I feel Mayweather is not that anymore interested in boxing. And as I feel, his brittle hands is the major issue.

Here is my basis from the article itself " But as his hands became more and more of an issue, so did his desire to fight "

Floyd is an utter waste of talent.

Imagine all those gifts yet he has no balls to step up.

Floyd is a discredit to the sport.

very fair & objective article. floyd's first retirement after beating ricky did a lot of damage to floyd's boxing legacy in my opinion. he retired with the welterweight division at its deepest with fights vs paul williams, antonio margarito, miguel cotto, & shane mosley on the waiting for him. if floyd had fought one or two of those guys & most likely won, manny would still be behind chasing floyd in terms of status, legacy, & boxing decorations.

instead he retired after beating ricky hatton. in a sense, floyd played a indirect part in manny's ascension to the kingship. crazy part is, by the time may comes around, manny would have beaten 3 of those fighters i mentioned earlier. pretty impressive considering manny was fighting as a 130 pounder as recently as 2008. Had floyd not retired after beating ricky, he would most likely have won fighter of the decade, still be p4p 1#, & above manny in terms of greatness. Instead manny has passed him up.

still, nonetheless floyd has had a very successful career. not as great as it could have been, but a very successful one. disappointment is the wrong word to use.

What was Shaky Shane when he fought Fraud Chicken May-never? Still Shaky or was Shane still top 5 P4P? So Shane was a contender when he fought Fraud, and now he's Shaky when he is fighting Pacquiao? You hypocrite!!!
