First of all Dzinziruk is no bum, he is no chump, he is none of that. He just no European fighter who wants to sit on his title and take easy fights ala Felix Sturm.

He could have kept on fighting in Germany and fight weak fighters. However, he wanted to fight the best out there. He even left his promotional company cuz they couldn't get him the best fights. He decided to make a move to the U.S cuz he wanted to fight the best.

He was willing to fight P-Will on short notice as well. He was willing to fight Angulo when Angulo was his mandatory and the fight was easy to make cuz both are promoted by Gary Shaw. It was Shaw who didn't want to make that fight. People forget that he was scheduled to fight against Kirkland before Kirkland went to jail.

Just because, he is European and some of you guys can't spell his name or not that familiar with him does NOT make him a bum or a chump.

Gary Shaw should make this happen.

If that is Dzinziruk minimum then Shaw should go to his pocket and pay the rest of what HBO is paying to make the 750k to give to Dzinziruk.

That would be something Arum would do, Shaw should be a real promoter and do it too. Maybe if he would made the Dzinziruk-Angulo fight when he had the chance this would not be happening. Maybe if he would of kept Dzinziruk active enough maybe Dzinziruk would of taken a pay cut here.

But, no, Dzinziruk has been with him for over a year and the best he could offer him was Daniel Dawson almost a year ago? Has Shaw had no dates since then where he could have found a slot to put Dzinziruk in? These promoters are not doing their job properly they're depending so much on TV money that they don't know how to do their job.

I blame Shaw more than anybody.

I hope like hell they get this worked out. This is a very interesting fight. And its a helluva lot better than the Zbik or Lee alternatives. However, if Smokescreen Bob wasn't trying to force recycled rematches down our throats, we could have Martinez-Cotto on this date.

thats some money he is asking for...
Dzinziruk and Pirog sound the most worthy, so if he fights either, that'll be great.
all i know is they better give martinez a good opponent.

Funny thing is Sergei Dzin probably earns that much in Germany. But for Martinez never to have seen 1M is a disgrace.

Sergio Martinez is going to get his just due. Now that he got
fighter of the year and KO of the year, his stock went up. His
promotional company is going to have to step up, market and
promote Sergio Martinez better. Endorsements, the whole 9.
Sergio time is now so his representatives have to handle his
business right. Sergio fought the toughest fights out of all
the top guys and was impressive as well.
