But a week before his last fight, his opponent pulled out 10 days before and he asked my friend Andriy Tsurkan to fill in for 20K

So i could imagine he only made 60-70K for his US debut

So yea i have no idea why he is asking for that money
because he doesn't want to lose. another undefeated cherry picker too scared to risk anything. had enough of these clowns.

Clearly Dzinziruk doesn't want the fight. This could be a opportunity
of a life time for him in America if he fights and beats Martinez or makes
it competitive. Sergei name is not making any noise at the moment so
      he should bow down.

If Sergei wanted the fight it would had been signed already. Let him make more than that if he can somewhere else. It is sad that Martinez is being avoided right now cause it tells you the state of the game. These fighters ala Berto, Khan with contracts with minimums so they can fight bums for a lot of money

I really want this fight but Dzin needs to come down on that 750K
Dzin needs to take his 500k and take the fight. I truly believe he is a live dog in this fight. He is so technically sound and has quick straight punches to counter serg when he dives in awkwardly. big props to Martinez for wanting this fight its a risky fight with a low. Upside. Can't wait to Cotto Martinez late 2011!!

Who signed Dzindziruk for $ 750,000 minimum ? Shaw and Pellulo , so they must pay him the balance between what is HBO offering and his minimum . Was ****** of Dzindziruk to sign with two promoters .

I'm with Team Sergio Martinez on this one. How this guy could get paid more than Sergio Martinez did against the lineal Middleweight champion and then a universally recognized #3 p4p guy is beyond me. I want Sergio to keep busy at his age, but I wouldn't budge on his side of the negotiations.

They should take whatever HBO is offering and split it 55-45 or 50/50. I know Martinez has been on HBO and deserves a payday, but Dzinziruk is a champion too and expects to be treated as one.

He probably knows he will lose, and wants a big payday to risk losing his belts.

Sergei should take almost anything they offer for this fight. Dude is super talented but he has been mostly sitting on his backside and, for the most part, fighting nobodies during his five years as WBO champ. Every time there is a great potential matchup, there is some reason it doesn't happen. His promoters, first Universum and now Shaw, haven't helped. He's almost 35. Time to **** or get off the pot before he gets too old to beat the top guys.
