What would you say if Vic Darchinyan went from 118 to 147?

Jimmy Ellis lost 5 fights as a middleweight including one to the infamous Rubin "Hurricane" Carter.

3.5 years later he won the Heavyweight Title with a win over Jerry Quarry.

Vic and Manny were the same size, same power at the lower weights, knocked out and hurt by smaller men.
So if Vic moved up would it be a red flag?
And if Vic beat the linear champ at 46 years old??

Would it be a red flag?

Manny was in Vic 's division at 19 years old.

            Troll thread.

Sam Langford beat lightweight great Joe Gans, then later beat heavyweight greats Joe Jeanette and Harry Wills. That's nearly 70 pounds of difference. Pac moving up 40 pounds and beating the guys he is beating has been done better. Big deal. Less titles, less champions etc means it hasn't always come with the label 'eight division world champion' but it's been done plenty.

To be brutally honest, most of the guys Pac's beating at these higher weights are exactly amazing material. The only thing that's any good about what he's doing is that he did come up from the lower divisions. Beating the guys he's beating is much of a muchness....they're just not that good, but it's just the fact that he is a little guy, well supposedly little considering that he's about the same size as everyone he has fought at the higher weights apart from Marg, Clottey, and isn't meant to beat these bigger guys. But, when it comes down to it, it's not that uncommon.

LOL nice try, ***** logic failing again.

Maybe if Vic weighed 118 when he as 16 and then went up to 147 when he was 30, then he'd be similar to Pac AND Floyd.

                      LOL nice FAIL btw
