I dont care what people say, and i surely will not judge him from one bad fight. I believe hes one of the toughest and difficult opponents out there. A few reasons why:

reason 1: His style will bother many fighters today. *cough*berto*cough*

reason 2: referring to pac's recent fights, even though he barely threw, hes the only one who didnt physically get hurt. And why judge him on one fight against the proclaimed p4p champ? Many of the best fighters today had 1 or more bad days in boxing.

reason 3: The Cotto fight was controversial, and on the Marg fight, he was whooping his ass until he broke his hand.

The only reason Clottey gets a lot of criticism is because he's not very strong mentaly and lacks determination.

To be honest I don't think he broke his hand against Margarito i think he was looking for a way out after seeing that he couldn't beat marg's workrate.

The thing that makes Clottey a great fighter is that he never gets hurt, has the best deffense in the game and is very strong physically. (and IMO has a beautiful style)

You're not going to beat this guy easily and like you said he's a threat to everybody. That's why not many fighters want to risk fighting him cough "berto cough lol

He also has a very accurate offense

They need to give them another chance. I believe he would beat Berto.

That sounds very reasonable, but if you watch the fight closely you see clottey punching a little different and kinda funny.

Clottey makes the perfect test fighter for up and comers. He'll never be anything great though.

Don't know about that, I think he used that excuse because he had very little stamina left...and Margarito was coming on strong.

I do agree with this. He's more than capable of being great, but mentally...he's not all that strong. Used to be a big fan of his.

I heard he sprained it. maybe he did hurt it who knows. It wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't really that bad of a sprain and he found it as an excuse to give up though

I think Clottey is hungry to redeem himself right now and I think he has realized that he needs to stop ****ing around because his chances of earning a tittle are becoming critical after his last performance.

I hope they put him against berto or foreman. I'm more than confident he will beat both of them.
