Is that why Diva has 171 pounders on his record? That's why I don't give much credence to "Ali would have beaten the Klitschkos, look at his record" but when you mention that he was beating LHWs for most of his career while being a full blown HW or CW, then you have people like yourself say "well the definition of HW was different back then". Who gives a **** about a definition when the reality is that Ali was fighting genuine 170 pounders and that he never faced a big, tall, athletic super HW like the Klitschkos? The HWs of today would wipe the floor with the HWs of the past, just like any other athlete of today would beat the athletes of the past in any other sport.

I digress though, Diva has a 75% KO at HW, that's the end of that. CW KO% doesn't count at HW, especially since it came against guys so light that they could have easily made the 168 weight limit.

If you average all of Hayes opponents from 1-26 the average weight is 210 lbs. Far from 170 as you claim.

James Toney was right...The Clitschko Sisters would have never been champions in the 70's. Really, if you put any of the top 10 contenders in this era, they would be undisputed Champion as hell...even Trevor Berbick or Tony Tucker would be undisputed Champ in this era. no such case can be made because vitali beat the best available to him and conquered his division. Valero was never true champ just paper champ with ****ty titles never having faced a single opponent of note or any big names like Vitali did.
