Fair enough, it's his life, but I think that's the primary reason a lot of these fantasy fights haven't happened.

idk if cotto would have been able 2 win but it would have been a hell of a fight. mayweather would have suffered some punishment 4 sure even in victory.

i know floyd is the ultimate boxer but i favor cotto agaist guys who fight a slower pace and like box. cotto usually does well vs those types of fighters.

A lot of these new fans up in here probably don't know this, that around 2007-2008, Cotto was Floyd's Manny Pacquiao.
Cotto like Pacquiao had virtually the same answers, "My company/promoter tells me who to fight".
Then there was Margarito and that matchup evaporated.

As opposed to Cotto who has never faced anything like Floyd remotly as well as Floyd does it at any weight. I'm not saying this is why he would win, i'm just saying in the sense of the 'Cotto will beat Floyd because he doesnt struggle with boxers' theory, is not nessercarily true, you know?
I think Cotto brings the best out of Floyd, but Floyd beats him.
