notice how guys on the right fall without even being touchedIf you watch Enter the Dragon (his most famous film) he fights the character O'Hara (who ****d his sister in the film----> seen in flashback) played by actor Bob Wall. In that scene is a famous shuffling side-kick delivered by Lee. Wall wanted this to look real and asked Bruce to deliver the kick as if he would in a real fight......Bruce agreed.
Well if you watch the film you can see the force of the kick in slow-motion. The kick Broke Bob Wall's sternum and the force was such an extra who was behind him and caught him also broke his arm. This is backed up by Wall's account.
- The Shaolin guy that Bruce fought, most accounts say he nearly lost that fight......that's when he began getting fanatical with his training.
- They also say he was very strong for his size. Would do bicep curls with 30kg+ weights......more than half his total body weight....also everyone who trained with him said he had incredible punching power.
- Pro bodybuilders like Arnold also used to admire the symmetry of his body, the muscularity and especially the lats.
Guy was the real deal.
The kick at 2:28 broke Wall's sternum and broke one of those extra's arms. Incidentally Wall actually cut Bruce with the broken bottles.

So Wall let Bruce kick him as hard as he could and he broke his sternum? What does that prove? There are many practising martial artists who could have done the same.
The only thing that would really prove Lee was a great fighter would be an official fight record, and unfortuanatly, there isnt one. Only hearsay.
Great pioneer of MMA, but we dont know how good he really was.Comment

That's true but his speed alone would have been extremely useful in a real fight. So Wall let Bruce kick him as hard as he could and he broke his sternum? So what?

LMAO! that dude deserved an ass whooping, after he's taught his class to dive around like stunt men to serve his ego..who da f*k checks if their nose is bleeding in a real fight, you'd get stomped...and he did! he';s lucky everyone stepped in, even though I bet if he had the upper hand everyone wud let him pummel that guy..
f*king fraud!!!
back to the main discussion, no one here will ever know if Bruce Lee was the real deal because:
1. we never met or saw the dude fight
2. we don;'t know anyone that saw him fight or seen footage
3. hes dead (RIP) so we'll never know!
my opinion (from his books and movement on film) is he could fight
your opinion is your opinion and doesn't matter in my opinion ;DComment

People also think that just because Jackie Chan makes comedy/action movies he can't fight. Jackie is one of the most technical fighters to ever live and you can take that to the grave.Comment
