Not true kids of this generation don't give a **** about lee. Thats why in 50 years he won't be rememberd. Because no one will watch his movies anymore. But real fighters like tyson and ali will always be remembered as long as boxing exicts

Bruce Lee was associated with HK mafia. I heard this from a couple of HK chinese friends living in Orange County CA. Bruce Lee according to them used to live in their house.

Bruce Lee was a fighter.

I can box OK, and sparred with my Wing Chun friend. He's done boxing, praying mantis, and Wing Chun.

Basically when you allow kicks, it's game voer for boxing.

I had my moments, but you can not jab away like in boxing since he just lifted his leg up and his leg is longer than my arm.

It was a great experience to learn what boxing can and can't do. Obviously a real Boxing champ is so fast you can;t defend it always, like how my friend couldn't always defend my combo's, but I did find out that if you face someone who has done boxing and martial ats, it's damn hard to beat them.

come to think about it he only fought chinese punks on the streets. And watching ufc, boxing, K1 , ... it's safe to say that chinese people aren't really good fighters

If he fought a street fight, with kicks etc.. he beats any boxer his weight.

As for MMA, he will struggle possibly, but a famous trainer in MMA said: He can learn, he was a fast learner, but he would lose right now. If he had 1 year he could do really good.

All I know, his speed is faster than a lot of MMA fighters I have seen.

Bruce Lee became famous from his movies not his fighting skills. If he never made movies he would be one of those million chinese guys who practise martial arts. He never won a big tournament. You wouldn't known him if he never made a movie therefore he is an actor not a fighter
