Berto will get a shot soon enough. You all have to take into consideration that the WW div is dry right now. You have two Mega-Stars in the division and after that not very much else. Haymon and HBO will get Berto some quality fights. HBO is paying way too much money not to.

Burner. I dont think this is much of a duck as it is to set up a better negotiation handle for a Floyd/Manny showdown. Floyd did it when he chose JMM. He took a fight with someone KNOWN to give Pac the fits and dominated him, to give him one up at the negotiating table. Pac is hoping to do the same here in a sense. He wants to take Shane and dominate him in a better fashion than Floyd. The problem with that is, it could backfire tremendously, if Shane rediscovers his left hook.

PK mah homie. The only thing out there for Berto right now is either the mega fights(Floyd or Manny), or to unify the titles(Which is what I think he should do while he waits in line). He's too big to drop to 140, where it's hella hot, but I think in the next 12-18 months those monsters at 140 will be up at WW running through eachother there. I mean Berto's got the flagship of the titles right now in the WBC. The other title holders SHOULD be knocking the doors down trying to get at Andre not the other way around. The only one woofin to Andre right now is Cintron, and really what can Cintron do for Andre Berto at this point?

Just wondering if you've ever step foot into the ring. I have seen friends fight who's mind was not into it and they subsequently ended up getting their asses beat, by men they should have handled in there.
Haiti is a small country and you sh_t on Berto for canceling the Mosley fight because he did not know whether or not he had family effected by the earthquake, and God-for-bid the man decides to help his fellow countrymen clean up the devastation.
As well, you are not a psychic. You cannot say that Berto would be fighting Pac if he had fought and beat Mosley. Arum would more than likely have some other excuse for fighting another Top Rank fighter.

Even regardless of that, what has Berto done to even demand a fight with Pac and to everyone throw their arms up in the air in disgust for Pac not facing him? All he has is that 0. Berto should be re-matching Collazo, fighting Alvarez or even Clottey himself. Then with that 0 still intact a mega fight could be on the cards.
