Seriously, Moreno is the little big man in boxing right now. His skill is insane and he had beaten some very good guys down recently.

No one here probably has a clue who he is and he may be the most skilled young fighter on that list quite easily.

Without doubt the most underrated fighter in the game today.

Just out of curiosity Rold, what was that Eder Jofre reference to? Was it something to do with where they are from? Because Moreno is Panamanian....not Brazilian. Just wondering...?

He's the closest thing to Pernell Whitaker in the sport right now. No, not THAT good, but that's the closest comparison. I want to see how he handles someone with speed and pop to really gauge him. If he can disarm someone of quality with physical tools he doesn't have, we'll really start to know. For now, his skill level is superb and he's shown he can win backwards and forwards.

And for those who want to flip Serg w/ Montiel, I wonder why? KO'ing Hasegawa was every bit as impressive (if not the same level of highlight clip awesome) as Williams and Montiel has a DECADE of quality wins and only a couple close, quality losses behind it.

Froch has fought his way to this list, and still he isn't. A bit sad.

Froch is still just shy for me. He's had a great, tough run but he looked awful against Dirrell (even though I had him winning) and lost to Kessler. I love 168 but I'm not putting any of those top 3 in until it is a little more sorted out.

I'm trying to figure out who can I blame for never hearing of a guy with 77 wins & 3 loses.

Blame the size of the earth. Boxing is a much larger sport than most realize and every corner of the globe gets their taste.

Yep, agreed mate. We'll see. I've been wondering what would happen between him and Doniare.....fascinating fight. I want to see what happens when Moreno takes a hard punch (ie. is badly hurt to se how he reacts) or is outsped....as you were saying. Might not ever happen though. Whether he can do the Whitaker thing and knuckle down into an alley brawl and win that way? I don't know.

As for Montiel being above Martinez...people are just love struck. Montiel has been one of the very best fighters for a long time with top wins for just as long. As always boxing is ruled by heart, popularity and the next big thing, not the head, rational thought and common sense.

Sorry.....but, are you going to tell me you've been a member since '07 (which probably means you've been a fan much longer I'm guessing...or maybe not) but haven't heard of Wongjongkam?

Man, get to it! Go find his early fights. Exciting guy and very, very good. Reminds me of Sahaprom, in that he was the best bantamweight (not that Wongjongkam is BW but you know what I mean) in the world and an absolutely incredible fighter but no one had even heard of him. Sad.
