In my opinion this is what seprates HOFers from ATGs and good fighters from great fighters too. I have nothing against guys with great natural gifts that simple overwhelm their opponents like a young Geroge Foreman, Tyson, or Pacquiao, however to me nothing beats me seeing a fighter change up their style between fights, and multiple times in a fight to pull out the win.
On the fly adjustments, and style alterations.

Are you saying George Foreman is not an ATG cuz he didn't make adjustments on the fly or showed a style alterations?
I'm just asking cuz you said that what separated HOF'ers from ATG's. So maybe you believe he is not an ATG.Comment

I agree, pretty much resume and accomplishments.
You can throw in skills but if you have an ATG resume with great accomplishments it must mean you have some skills.
However, you can have all the skills in the world but if your resume is lacking and you haven't really accomplished a lot then how can you be called an ATG? You not proving yourself against the best.
So I agree.Comment

He is, he is a top 5 HW of all time if you ask me. I meant for the most part, not always.Comment

you talk about skills in HOF vs. ATG in the context that you have to have great skills to accomplish a HOF or ATG resume.I agree, pretty much resume and accomplishments.

but in the end it's all about resume and accomplishments.Comment

Resume is the argument of the weak, if you only know a guys resume you should not be making judgments about their career point blank.
If you don't have the knowledge all a resume is for a fighter is just meaningless numbers and dates.Comment
