He fought more often to keep his skills sharp, he still beat plenty of HOFers / ATGs (in their prime too ! ) inside of that 127 run which you didn't care to list.

He fought very often but quite a few fighters during that time fought very often.

If he only fought high quality, he'd have less than 60 fights total life time. Same with Armstrong and Pep.

Quantity of fights don't mean crap. People should stop saying, "Robinson (or Armstron, Pep, Wilde) was great because unlike today's fighters, they fought every week". Fighting every week proves nothing if many of those are against fighters with records of 32-36. Armstrong fought one while lightweight champ who was 0-2. And he fought him twice!!!!!

If Pac only fought high quality he wouldn't even have double digit fights.

              So what are you saying?

Nobody is saying they are great because of the amount of boxers they beat you silly goose, they're great because of what they achieved and the quality of resume.

You really thought people have been saying these boxers are so great all this time just because of the amount of times they fought ?, .

I think so, I'm hesitant to put Greb and Langford ahead of him. Me personally if anybody has them even or has Greb or Langford above him I will not argue at all.

The only reason I put SRR slightly ahead of those 2 is because I seen his fights. I have never seen a Greb and Langford. Only reason why I give SRR the edge, not a good reason but just my reason.

But, if we look at just pure resume and accomplishments not fight footage. Both Greb and Langford have just as good of a case if not better than SRR being the GOAT.
