what masterclass? he cried and acted his way out of the fight in the 11th round with AA coming after him for the KO.

the hate on AA in this thread is off the scale and in no way justified, he's only lost one legit fight in his pro career, I'll be bumping it if he beats Ward.

He needs to take risks if he wants to stay at 168 or above.
At this weight he'll always be shorter.

I dont normally use words like 'exposed', but the fact that Froch used Dirrell's tactics and AA didn't have any answer whatsoever, I think it's justified. The blame must fall on AA and Wegner.

I hear you. But untill round 11 AA had surprisingly little success. That was a surprise. It's my belief that had Dirrell fought like that against Froch, he'd have won so that was a big learning experience for Andre.

I respect Wegner for saying the truth, if you're fighter doesn't want to take risks and fight hard, what can you do, hit him with a stool??? Wegner will not train Abraham just for the payday...

If you think that Abraham can change trainers and suddenly become a good fighter you probably think the only thing standing between Leon Spinks and a million dollar smile is a quick trip to the dentist for a cleaning.

I like Wegner, but he is just covering his behind on this one. I think it would be for the best if they part their ways as soon as possible so Abraham can get a new American coach that can maybe hammer in a new strategy. It is probably too late, but it's worth a try. This next fight is all or nothing for Arthur.

Wegner's stable has not been doing well at all lately, and that makes me wonder if it's really the fighters or him?

I agree, Abraham would do well to hire himself an American trainer.

i dont think that he is too small. he just isnt that good technically. mike tyson was only 5 11! he does need to improve alot tho if he is gonna mix it up at 168lbs.

that ****** old hanger, uli wegner knows nothing about boxing but his old outdated tricks which is too old for boxers to keep up with. all he taught AA or others is how to defend themselves on a peekaboo defense style. AA needs to hire an up to date technical trainer, else he's not going to get anywhere with that old alcoholic uli wegner. he's not well respected trainer and he doesn't know a damn thing about boxing. if you've paid attention all of his fighters fight the same style, a strong defense but no offense. if a boxer is not trained to throw a volume of punches then his offense sucks. uli wegner is the only one to put the blame on. AA is smart and a very strong guy with punching power, but he needs a real trainer (preferably from USA) to train AA so he can effectively implement his tools to overcome his opponents. at this juncture AA fights depending solely on his own boxing imagination. he has 0 foot and head movement. he's been trained to fight like a robot. uli wegner is the only one to take 100% blame for all outcomes. including first AA vs miranda fight.
