Firsty Abraham was never the king at middleweight. Taylor was the king, then Pavlik was the king during Abrahams "reign" at middleweight.

Secondly, Ulli Wegner might be the "the best of the best" in euro land but compared to American trainers he ain't ****.....

A change in trainer is the way to go IMO. Wegner must share a lot of the blame from the Froch fiasco. AA needs new input. AA does not respond well to Wegner's insults.

i agree, he needs a cool coach who doesnt have the habit to overreact after losing 2-3 rounds
i really thought AA is gonna punch his coach, i mean he was insulting him really bad on live tv and AA looked really pissed off...

Respect to Wegner, I wish more trainer has the cojones to say and do what wegner just did, I have a lot of respect for people who are prepared to say the truth to boxers instead of licking their behinds, AA seem easier to beat now and i think a lot of boxers who fights him would just use the same tactics against him.

he must admit defeat before he can work on his flaws. until then he will make the same mistakes and lose because the blueprint to beat him is there. he must make big changes to his style. having one style and not being able to adjust is only going to get you so far. aruthor has the tools but must change his style up and be more active and set his power shots up

He's a bully, that simple. As i predicted, as soon as he found someone who he couldn't physically push back as easily and could throw him off balance with some snap his lack of boxing skills would show. Arthur does best vs physically weak boxers who he can push back knowing one punch can do the job when it lands. Much credit to Froch for the win that was a truly amazing performance.

According to reports in Germany, well respected trainer Uli Wegner has threatened to walk out on Arthur Abraham (31-2, 25 KO) - unless the former champion accepts the reality of his recent twelve round decision loss to Carl Froch. Wegner wants Abraham to stop blaming various members of his team for the loss to Froch.
