I had it 114-112 for B-Hop draw is fair but Pascal was clearly outboxed the whole fight, if it wasnt for the early knock downs in which i felt the first 1 shouldnt hav counted cause he hit him n the back of the head, but either way i felt B-Hop should hav won that fight tho a draw wasnt robbery the way B-Hop was outboxing Pascal it sure seem like it lol!
Hopkins didn't win! My Scorecard.

Score-wise, the knockdowns were effective. but they did little to nothing to deter Hopkins from imposing his will. the same can't be said for Hopkin's body shots and how they kept Pasqual continually at bay.
for the record, i scored the first round a 9/9. I had Hopkins winning that round (10/9) then losing one point for the knockdown (9/9).
The third round, yes, I gave that round to Pasqual and with the knockdown, made it a 10/8 round. He didnt' do too much after that.
One fighter definitely looked and was bewildered, while the other looked and was relaxed. I'll let you figure out which was which.
I also had it 114/112 for Hopkins. had the knockdowns not occurred, I would have had him winning 116/112.Last edited by 1nonlymre; 12-20-2010, 07:58 PM.Comment

I watched the fight and here is my detailed scorecard.
1 Pascal 10-8 (Pascal winning the round plus KD)
2 Hopkins 10-9 (Close round)
3 Pascal 10-8 (Hopkins down, and Pascal landed nice shots leading up to the KD as well)
4 ?Even?
5 Pascal 10-9
6 Hopkins 10-9
7 Hopkins 10-9
8 Pascal 10-9 (Close Round)
9 Pascal 10-9
10 Hopkins 10-9
11 Hopkins 10-9
12 Hopkins 10-9
My final score is 114-113 in favour of Jean Pascal.
Please note that I have only watched the fight once, and sometimes when watching the fight a second time, you can have a differing opinion.
While I do think round 8, which I scored for Pascal, could have been closer to even. That still renders a 114-114 DRAW.
Either way,
THIS WAS A CLOSE FIGHT. This was not a robbery. Hopkins was not robbed, and honestly I dont think he won the fight.
Even if Hopkins did win the fight, it was by a margin of only 1 or 2 points, and THUS, ITS STILL NOT A ROBBERY.
A Robbery is when a fighter wins like 8 rounds to 4 with no knockdowns but sitll loses (ie Kotelnik/Alexander)Comment

I had Hopkins winning but I haven't much of an issue with your card.
I agree the 'robbery' talk is ******. It was very close scoring.Comment

The draw is the best decision possible. I personally dont see how the fight could be scored any other way? BUT, without those 2 knockdowns, Hopkins wins. After Dawson and Pascal do it again, which is what seems to be happening, Hopkins will dispose of Pascal before the final bellComment
