    Hopkins didn't win! My Scorecard.

I watched the fight and here is my detailed scorecard.

1 Pascal 10-8 (Pascal winning the round plus KD)
    2 Hopkins 10-9 (Close round)
3 Pascal 10-8 (Hopkins down, and Pascal landed nice shots leading up to the KD as well)
    4 ?Even?
    5 Pascal 10-9
    6 Hopkins 10-9
    7 Hopkins 10-9
    8 Pascal 10-9 (Close Round)
    9 Pascal 10-9
    10 Hopkins 10-9
    11 Hopkins 10-9
    12 Hopkins 10-9

My final score is 114-113 in favour of Jean Pascal.

Please note that I have only watched the fight once, and sometimes when watching the fight a second time, you can have a differing opinion.

While I do think round 8, which I scored for Pascal, could have been closer to even. That still renders a 114-114 DRAW.

    Either way,

THIS WAS A CLOSE FIGHT. This was not a robbery. Hopkins was not robbed, and honestly I dont think he won the fight.

Even if Hopkins did win the fight, it was by a margin of only 1 or 2 points, and THUS, ITS STILL NOT A ROBBERY.

A Robbery is when a fighter wins like 8 rounds to 4 with no knockdowns but sitll loses (ie Kotelnik/Alexander)

I am so tired of hearing dumb Americans say Hopkins got robbed.

It was a close fight, 1 or 2 points either way. A draw was probably fair.

Even if you tell me, Hopkins won the fight by 1 point, I have no issue at all with that scorecard.

But understand that winning a fight by 1 point, which is called a DRAW is not a robbery.

Kotelnik beat Alexander easily by 5 or 6 points, and lost the fight. that is a ROBBERY.

Leading by 1 point and having a draw is not a robbery. "bad decision" perhaps, but not a robbery.

In any case, I thought a draw was the best result. I dont feel Hopkins won.

Fights in Canada are notorious for robberies the rematch should be in a neutral site Las Vegas,Duibai something along those lines.
Pascal was badly beaten in that fight ,sht the last 6 rds he hardly through a punch i think Bernard had him badly hurt to the body, anyway Pascal will duck a rematch or simply price himself out, fight Chad Dawson, then clean up with a pay day vrs Bute in which he will lose his titles.

              K, you're missing my point.

Even if you give Bernard all last 6 rounds. General consensus is the first 5 rounds went to Pascal (personally I thought Nard won round 2, tho).

THE FIGHT WAS CLOSE, like within 1 or 2 points.

              This is not a robbery.

a Robbery is when a fight is NOT CLOSE, but is still awarded to the wrong guy (ie Kotelnik beat Alexander by 5 points, but still lost the fight)

Hopkins/Pascal was not a robbery, its a close fight. EoD.

Had Hopkins not been dropped twice, yes I would agree he won the fight. But thats not the case.
