Who Won - Bernard Hopkins OR Jean Pascal?

BHOP is a legend

People are being generous with the old man, Hopkins outboxed Pascal, but Pascal floored him twice.
They talk like Hopkins won 10 rounds, but I have Hopkins winning 7 or 8 rounds at best.
So with the 2 knock downs...can be a draw.

Funny how the fight started after the 5th rounds according to BS posters.lol

It was close on points. I had Pascal winning 4 rounds and the two KDs, Hopkins 8 so 114-112. I thought in the majority of the rounds from 4 onwards Hopkins won, but there was one round (between 9 and 11), that I gave Pascal.

If you'd have called the third a 10-9 round (surely it would be 9-9....) then Hopkins wins 115-112.

He should have won, but there are much worse judging performances - like Malignaggi-Diaz 1 which was in the US. Hopkins won on one scorecard vs calzaghe, which I found baffling, but then a lot on here seem to think he deserved the nod there.

oh and round 5 was also a close one, so if that was given to Pascal you could see 113-113 as a legitimate score.

Harsh on Hopkins, but it wasn't a robbery really. He deserved to win for sure, but you can see a draw being scored without any skullduggery or ineptitude going on.

If anyone won it was Hopkins, but the knockdowns had it a draw for me.

BHop easy. I had 115-112 for Hopkins. Also, that first knockdown was illegitimate. It should of been ruled to a shot to the back of head. The 2nd knockdown was legit. He got caught with a clean shot.

I did not know the outcome, just downloaded at watched it

R1 10-8 pascal (50-50 on the knockdown, not sure if it was legit or not, good cases for both sides)
R2 10-9 hopkins, really tight round, could go either way
R3 10-8 pascal, Hopkins should have been deducted a point at the end for hitting after the bell
R4 10-9 hopkins
R5 10-9 pascal, like the 2nd round really tight, could go either way
R6 10-9 hopkins, pathetic round by pascal, poor work rate, its like he is the 45 year old
R7 10-9 hopkins, total domination
R8 10-9 hopkins, tight round, could have gone either way
R9 10-9 hopkins, pascal may have won the last 30 seconds but Hopkins won it for me in the first minute
R10 10-9 pascal, again like 3 of the earlier rounds, tight but I think pascal did enough to win this
R11 10-9 hopkins, both landed good hits but Hopkins activity won this round for me
R12 10-9 pascal, landed the cleaner shots for me took this round imo

Honest to god, I did not know the score before hand and just watched the fight, I had it a 113-113 draw but either guy could have won it by a point in this one
