No offense but you do realize you have Zsolt Erdei in your avatar right? How the hell can you question who Bute is fighting?

Kessler was desperately looking for a volontary defense having destroyed his mandatory in hostile territory. He didn't have to fight Perdomo before the autumn. The Palle conflict wasn't exploded yet but did when Palle failed to land any fights for Kessler.

March 10th 2009, it was reported Kessler was in open conflict with Palle and it might end up in court. Bute fought Zuniga March 13th.

And wasn't the conflict about Palle not wanting to take risks with Kessler's opponents? Bute would've been a risk...

Point taken. I thought it was somewhat later. Still it was early days of the conflict and that wasn't really the issue when Bute was asked about a fight with Kessler.

Bute was asked if he wanted Kessler next and he answered: "....errrm.... er..... There are other champions." In other words he wasn't interested at all.

Ok now I remember. It was at the press conference right after the Zuniga fight. Until now I didn't even remember what you were referring to. Yeah I know that sounded odd. Indeed it didn't look good. Maybe Bute didn't want to close doors and give Kessler the upper hand in the possible negociations. But I agree he didn't look good and he should've said that he was willing to fight anybody in the division. And you can see in the press conference that he wanted to fight Andrade again. He mentionned 2-3 times that he hoped Andrade would win his fight against Tsypko so they could meet again.

Another thing about Bute that seems suspect to me is that given he's scored these quick knockouts over guys with marginal skill that hasn't really showed us he can handle the late rounds. We haven't seen it since he barely survived the fight with Andrade.

If you think this is bad wait until Bute fights Curtis Stevens next.

Kinda funny that HBO will turn down a Martinez-Zbik fight and Martinez has no choice but to find someone else whereas Showtime can't stop Bute from fighting bums.

Seriously, who is gonna stay home on Saturday night to watch Bute-Magee?

                I would rather watch Shobox.
Lol. That dude is a little fuckin flee bitten troll.

You're wrong. What's worse is when people tell you the real facts, you still deny them. You say that Bute ducked Kessler after the Zuniga fight. That was in March 2009. Look at Kessler's record. He was not fighting because of his dispute with Palle.

The real facts are that Bute's promoter and Palle had agreed for a fight early 2009. Bute had to fight Zuniga because Kessler couldn't fight for months, until he signed with Sauerland. He then needed a tune up and that was with Perdomo. After 19 fights, Bute's tam didn't want Kessler but he was ready late 2008 and early 2009. Not his fault if Kessler took a long break.

Zsolt Erdei's resume ****s on Lucian Bute's, so that should really put it into context.

Bute refused to move up to 175 cause he's scared of Pascal.

Erdei is a two weight champion who moved up and won a Cruiserweight Title even though he is smaller than Bute.

Erdei 5'10... Lineal Light Heavyweight and Cruiserweight Champ

Bute 6'2 And afraid to move up to Light Heavyweight for a fight his whole country wants to see.

Erdei's wins over Julio Caesar Gonzalez, Fragomeni and Hugo Hernan Garay x2 are all more siginificant than Bute's biggest win which is impossible to identify because there isn't one world champion level fighter on his whole damn resume.

Also, it is Erdei who has come to the United States and fought in Atlantic City and stated his desire to fight the biggest names in the US. It was sorry ass promoter who always held him back.

Bute, on the other hand, if afraid of a challenge and hides behind his promoter.

I'm not surprised that you made such a ****** post, most people don't know jack **** about boxing outside of their favorite fighters.

He was sick just before the Andrade fight. The doc didn't want him to fight. Bute did at least 4 12 round fights and showed no sign of weakness at all. Against Bika, for example, his best rounds were the 10th, 11th and 12th.
